Two opposites, both sweetest dogs stopped by last week. Both got their teeth cleaned and brushed, desheded, bathed with so much fur left behind. White beautiful Akira, a Samoyed so soft and fluffy. And a strong, muscular Neyla, a black and white Dalmation.

Summer heat, meet your match! It's time for all you retrievers, labs, pit mixes, shepherds, and double-coated breeds to get groomed, primped, and primed for the sun with deshedding tools, blow dryers, and trimmers - let's do this, pups! Stay cool!

It's a coat-stravaganza with Doodles, folks - some are super fluffy, some are double-coated, and the rest fall somewhere in the middle.
Roy, being the brainy and beautiful MalaMoodle that he is, has a double coat and sheds more than a little... but today was the day we deshedded him and gave him a brand new smile. His teeth were starting to get all plaque-y, which can quickly spiral into tooth decay and gum disease - and usually means a vet visit is in order. But Roy's a total pro, he stayed calm and collected while I removed away all that plaque and grime.

Time's up, furball! This Doodle's locks were so tangled they had their own gravitational pull. A short haircut later and she was sashaying like a pro.

Hand-stripping a wirey Cairn terrier coat is no easy feat, but it's the best option for these spirited pups. A healthy coat is crucial for their well-being and looking their absolute best.
Finnegan quickly learned staying calm got him off the grooming table in half the time and he was happy to shed layers of long itchy old coat.

Two adorable Cocker Spaniels stopped by and got their fancy new haircuts. This breed demands attention and maintenance - possibly even more than the high-maintenance Poodles, Doodles, or terriers. But hey, they knew they looked paw-some afterwards!

Poodle ears, Doodle ears, terriers and all ears need a good scrubbin' every now and then. A clean ear is a happy ear, and dogs feel like a million bucks after a good clean. But messy ears are like a petri dish for bacteria - they thrive in all that gunk. And if you're not careful, those infected ears can lead to hearing loss. Thank you for coming in and keeping regular grooming appointments!
