We provide surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abscess repairs, and dental extractions just to name

a few. We also provide holistic and alternative care in the areas of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and chiropractic care. They’re here! The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and ticks, fleas, and mosquitos are coming out to play.

🦟We generally recommend your pets stay on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative year round but if you haven’t started, now is the time!
🦟Ticks prefer moist, humid environments and can be found in tall grasses, brush piles, animal and wildlife habitats, and wooded areas.
🦟Mosquitos tend to thrive in warmer, humid weather but will become active at temperatures above 50 degrees F.
🦟Fleas, well they are the gift that keeps on giving.
🦟We typically associate preventatives with our canine companions but don’t forget your feline friends! Cats are also susceptible to heartworm disease and tick borne illnesses.

🦟Stop in to pick up your pets’ flea, tick, and heartworm preventative and be sure to ask about our ongoing promotions!

Meet Our Doctors!
Dr. Jen Picard

In 2009, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian after completing my undergraduate degree in Biology and Animal Science from University of Rhode Island and graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. I joined the Chase Farm team of doctors in 2018.

Throughout my career, I have developed a particular interest in preventative medicine, dentistry, and orthopedics. These areas have allowed me to not only ensure the overall health and well-being of animals but also provide them with the necessary care to live a happy and fulfilling life.

When I'm not wearing my scrubs, you can find me enjoying time with my wonderful family. I am blessed to have two amazing boys and a loving husband. We currently share our home with 2 dogs Scarlet and Bruce and Olive,a Tabby cat.

Say hello to Dr. Picard!

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Wadsworth joined our team in 2017. She achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Prior to attending Cornell University, she earned her degree in Animal Science at the University of Vermont (UVM). Dr. Wadsworth was born and raised in upstate New York, and this is where she proudly began her veterinary career in a mixed-animal practice caring for “all creatures great and small.” Longing to be near the ocean, she moved to Massachusetts, where she has focused her career on the health and well-being of man’s best friends -cats as well as dogs- and nurturing the bond between pets and their families. Although she enjoys the challenges of many aspects of veterinary medicine, her main interests are internal medicine and preventative care. Dr. Wadsworth’s experience and knowledge are invaluable tools she uses as a diagnostician while providing her patients with thorough, detail oriented, compassionate care. Outside of work, Dr. Wadsworth enjoys being outdoors, fishing, honing her skills in wildlife photography and traveling with her husband. She also enjoys taking long walks on the beach with her faithful, lovable companion, Elsa by her side.

Say hello to Dr. Wadsworth!
