🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: WILLIE IS ALIVE. 🚨

Apparently Facebook had a few people believing Willie had left this earth entirely. 😭💀

We are happy to report that Willie is, in fact, VERY MUCH ALIVE.

Not only is he alive, he’s currently out on the road, enjoying himself and getting a little well-deserved break between everything. 😂 He’s happy, he’s healthy, and contrary to recent Facebook reporting, he has NOT crossed the rainbow bridge.

Since y’all were already emotionally invested in Willie’s wellbeing, we figured we might as well make something good come out of his accidental internet obituary. 🤣

Overview:
After BBR Finals, Lanie found out Arley was dealing with severe equine asthma after a scope and BAL showed significant airway inflammation and some bleeding. After working with her veterinarian to get him under control, she added Rebar Ranch Naturals Lung Health Formula into their pre-race routine.

✨ A 1D run after NEVER making the 1D on him before

MYTH vs. FACT
“Recovery is only a rodeo-day problem.”

MYTH: Recovery only matters after a competition. 👀

Your horse’s body doesn’t know whether the clock was running.

A hard training day at home still counts.
A long haul still counts.
Exhibitions still count.
Conditioning still counts.
And of course, those hard rodeo and jackpot weekends REALLY count.

Recovery isn’t something that should only cross our minds after a big run.

Hydration, proper cool down, nutrition, rest, and supporting your horse’s normal recovery should be part of the routine every time we ask their body to work.

Because waiting until your horse feels “off” to start thinking about recovery?
