“When it comes to nebulizing, I tailor frequency based on each horse’s individual needs and overall respiratory health.

For healthy horses needing a little extra airway support — or horses that have previously bled and are maintained with Lasix — I typically nebulize 6cc at least 3 hours prior to a run. Depending on their environment, such as dusty stalls or increased irritants, I may also nebulize once or twice during the week for additional support.

For horses dealing with allergies or ongoing airway concerns, I generally nebulize 6cc two to three times weekly, as well as 3 hours or more before competition.

In more severe cases, or when I feel a horse could benefit from additional respiratory support, I may nebulize daily for a couple of weeks before tapering back to 2–3 times per week. From there, I closely monitor their progress and adjust frequency based on how they respond.

Every horse is different, and finding the right routine is all about supporting their airway health while monitoring what works best for them individually.

The dosage is always 6cc.”

All my FB friends will love this... we're helping local farmers today. Unloading some much needed hay and delivering feed and hay to folks who have no other resources for it. Many of the fields and the bales that were stored for winter are gone. Equipment was destroyed and cold days are coming. These folks are going to need our help through next spring.
