Here are the 2 bottle babies we took in recently . Their eyes were not even open when we got them. My have they grown. Hopefully they will catch up with their ears that seem to have outgrown them . They are fully vaccinated and will be spay soon and ready for adoption

Our lottery winners for the day.
Coco has been with me since the first of the year. He pups went to stanwood washington . She had to stay behind to get treated for heart worms . She is almost done with her treatment.
Onyx and her pup were our stray holds for city. They were in the center median with a 2nd puppy who was very traumatized. After a month no one claimed them and we didnt have the space for them to intake them. I took one last ditch effort to save them from euthanasia and submitted them to a rescue in utah that was taking another litter we had that was going . I was expecting them to say no because she is a pit..but to my surprise they said they would take her and her pup. However the litter of 5 big pups we were to send were bumped off the list. (3 of them got to go to a rescue down in beaumont last monday )
The other pup was not a good canidate for me to even submit because he didnt trust humans and had no desire to trust us . It tried to bite everyone who tried to pick it up . So we have these 3 pups heading to utah today.. we did find out that mama also has heart worms. Worried the rescue might not take her i informed them of what we discovered ..
They said yes they would still take her. Her and her pups were going to be euthanized had we not taken them in to our very over crowded rescue . She is so sweet to let that happen. She is a jewel of a dog and who ever adopts her is getting a great dog..
We only have 3 dogs leaving today . We are super happy for these 2 heart worm positive dogs to be going to get their forever homes . We are sending their full heart worm treatment with them . Congrats to these 3

Its summer time and about to start getting really hot with the 100 plus degree days just a couple weeks away. Please make sure your pets have plenty of fresh drinking water, you can freeze water bottles and take all plastic off of it and they will love that too. Maybe even a kiddie pool so they can splash around and stay cool the best they can in this heat . If you can bring them inside im sure they would appreciate that even more. But if they have to be outside you must provide them with shade /shelter from the sun beating down on them.
It is also against the law to chain them up for more than any extended period of time in this heat. So please be kind to your pets and keep them safe .

We love updates .. Darby Montana was in our care last summer until she was adopted thru Montana pittie project program to a family in Idaho. She is surely living her best life. She has come a very long ways from that pup with broken hip not able to use her back leg living on thd streets of teague tx behind the fire dept and senior center to living her best life ever in Idaho. You make us proud Darby
Thank you again Mpp for another great home for one of our pups. we love yall our sisters yall do such awesome work .

Update .. mom and 1 oup arrived safely atbthe rescue in utah that took a chance on them. Have great lives now, let your light shine you are miles away from the vad people that dumped you in the center median of a highway

As most kenneks we are over our capacity and have no place to put her . She is so sweet

The last 4 of our husky litter arrived safely in Utah today and the 2 aussie pups arrived in Washington as well. The aussies went to their homes. Have great lives pups and make us proud ..
