Can we maybe start researching our dogs breed?🤔

One of the most frustrating issues I come across is an owner wanting to "fix" a dogs behaviour that comes naturally to that breed. Then the owner not realising that it's a natural behaviour to that dog because they've done zero research 🫣

If you are making a 10-15 year commitment you should be looking at what you're signing up for.

Some breeds are bred to shout, some are bred to dig, some are bred to chase, some are bred to be wary of strangers, some are bred to sniff, some are bred to be independent, some are bred to carry things, and by researching their original purpose you can have an understanding of what to expect.

Don't buy a working line Labrador, take it for a 10 minute walk around the block every day and then complain that it's stealing objects at home.

Don't buy a farm bred border collie and never give it an outlet for herding or let it off the lead and then wonder why it's chasing everything that moves.

Don't buy a Dachshund or a German Shepherd if you want a quiet dog.

Don't buy a beagle if you want a dog that doesn't sniff everything.

Let's start working with our breeds rather than against them??? 🙈🙈

Blueberries are considered a superfood and they have extremely high health benefits in our dog. Incorporating dog’s love of peanut butter and finding that it can also help our furry friends also makes it indispensable when it comes to a dog treat.
This treat is made with all natural and organic ingredients and are made to order.

The amount in each pack is determined by the weight which each pack is approximately 6oz full.
This is an absolute favorite and my dog’s personal favorite. Ingredients include: coconut flour, organic peanut butter, organic eggs, organic applesauce, and organic blueberries

Our Story

Wesson’s Canine Bakery is a family owned dog bakery based in Peru, Indiana however we ship internationally! All of the treats we make are from the purest ingredients from local farms and are free from harmful dyes, preservatives, added sugars, additives, and chemicals.

Don’t be fooled by labels in the stores that say “All natural”. There are many commercial icings, sprinkles, biscuits, and treats that are indeed safe for dogs. However, they contain chemicals, dyes, artificial flavors, and other ingredients that either you can’t pronounce or have no idea what they are.... plainly they just aren’t healthy for your dog!

We strive to always make a treat that is a healthy option for your pet that is chemical free, preservative free, wholesome, human grade, and again just plain healthy!

All treats have been tested by the FDA and are licensed by the state of Indiana, and also tested by the 5 taste testers living in my home!
