In times, where sadness, and all else couldn’t help the snuggles and love of an always compassionate animal has always been there.

Ever wonder why your dog gets eye boogers? Most the time eye boogers are just a process of life and nothing to worry about… but sometimes it could be more.
Today we’ll cover too reasons why your dog would have eye boogers
👀 Common Goop— this is the most common and harmless reason. This is caused when the excess eye liquid or tears just crust up and dry most times while sleeping.
👀 Allergies— when accompanied by watery eyes you may notice an increase in eye goop. This is actually a natural reaction of the eyes as a protection to help clear the eyes of whatever it is irritating them.
👀 Pink Eye— Did you know dogs can contract this?! One of the main symptoms is excess eye goop, but with pink eye it typically is green or yellow.

If your dogs are anything like mine in this dramatic weather shifts we have hot spots basically constantly.
No more than one heals and then the weather yet again can’t decide what it wants to do and we have another!

Hot spots can be caused by a myriad of reasons—season change, allergies, parasites, dry skin, almost anything under the sun that is irritating them enough to not pick!

Most often dogs are biting, licking, chewing constantly at their front legs, feet, or hips causing that redness, irritation, loss of hair.

Our hot spot spray is created to help! (Designed straight from our Bernese Mtn Dogs hot spots)
With oils designed to heal, soothe, and kill bacteria it will help clear it up quickly, and there is bitter melon in it as well so that it creates a barrier of sour taste so they leave it alone to allow it to heal!

Our Story

Wesson’s Canine Bakery is a family owned dog bakery based in Peru, Indiana however we ship internationally! All of the treats we make are from the purest ingredients from local farms and are free from harmful dyes, preservatives, added sugars, additives, and chemicals.

Don’t be fooled by labels in the stores that say “All natural”. There are many commercial icings, sprinkles, biscuits, and treats that are indeed safe for dogs. However, they contain chemicals, dyes, artificial flavors, and other ingredients that either you can’t pronounce or have no idea what they are.... plainly they just aren’t healthy for your dog!

We strive to always make a treat that is a healthy option for your pet that is chemical free, preservative free, wholesome, human grade, and again just plain healthy!

All treats have been tested by the FDA and are licensed by the state of Indiana, and also tested by the 5 taste testers living in my home!
