We're a little less than 3 weeks away from starting our last session of the summer.

Now is the time to get things right with your pup before the hustle and bustle of Fall.

Your pup will no longer pull on the leash and will not jump up on you when you walk in the door. Most importantly, you'll establish the correct dynamic between you and your dog where they respect and trust you and your guidance.

Admittedly, I'm not 100% sure of the science behind the graphic, but let's just say that all should be mindful of temperatures when taking our dogs out these days.

Some offer that if YOU cannot comfortably stand barefoot on the surface for 5 seconds, then you shouldnt have your pup walk on it.

Regardless, walking your pup early in the morning is really the best bet.

There's another "standard" out there that says if the sum of the relative humidity and the temperature is 150 or higher, your dog should not engage in strenuous outdoor activity.

This is a great time for your pup to try doggie daycare. It's air conditioned, its socialization and it really drains your pups battery.
