We want to keep you all in the loop—there have been a few confirmed cases of kennel cough among pups in daycare. While it’s not unusual this time of year, we always take extra precautions to protect our Bark Avenue family. This weekend, our team will be doing a thorough deep clean and sanitation of the facility so everything is fresh and safe for your dogs.

If your pup starts showing any coughing, hacking, or signs of not feeling their best, please keep them home, give them lots of love and rest, and check in with your vet.

A quick reminder: all dogs in our care are required to be vaccinated against kennel cough. Like a human flu shot, the vaccine helps reduce risk and keeps symptoms much milder if a pup does catch it.

It’s with heavy hearts we share that our beloved “Green Bean Toby” has crossed the rainbow bridge. Toby joined the Bark Avenue family in 2016 as a young pup and quickly became a staff favorite with his playful personality, gentle soul, and love for green beans. He was still playing with his friends in daycare until almost the very end, and we’re so grateful for the years of joy he brought to our crew. He lived a wonderful life, surrounded by love and spoiled by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed. Rest easy, sweet boy. 🐾❤️

🥳 DENALI! 🥳

Say hello to our August Small Dog of the Month Denali! This 5-year-old Alaskan Klee Kai has been part of the Bark Ave crew since 2020, and we’ve loved every minute of it🫶

Denali is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. He’s basically the unofficial puppy manners coach around here 🤣 and is always happy to show the young pups how it’s done! He’s a fetch fanatic, an office regular, and can almost always be found with his BFF Ashley!🥳

With his cuddly personality and funny little quirks, it’s no surprise Denali is a total staff favorite. We’re so lucky to have him as part of the Bark Avenue family!💙

🥳 TIMBER & HENDRIX! 🥳

Meet our August Big Dogs of the Month Timber and Hendrix! This sibling duo has been part of the Bark Ave family since 2022!💙

Timber is a 9 year old Alaskan Malamute, full of fluff and sass. He’s a snow-loving, tug-of-war champion who never misses a chance to sneak a stuffed toy in the room! ❄️🧸

Hendrix is an 11 year old Border Collie Lab Mix and the definition of a gentle soul. He’s all about hanging with the little pups and throwing down in a good ol’ game of paws! 🐾🤩

These two bring so much joy to our days and we couldn't be happier to have them with us!Way to go, Timber & Hendrix!❤️✨🤩
