Oh gosh, I forgot to post the big news! Help me welcome our new lesson horse Vintage! Vintage is a 24 yr old AQHA mare. She will be able to accommodate larger riders. We are working on getting her to a healthy weight and evaluating her overall. She is on an extensive feed program and under light work to help gain muscle.

Rides with Skye will be rebranding with a name change! This name change will be part of the umbrella company that we plan to open within the next 2 years. Everything will be the same, except for the name for now!

School schedule and lesson changes! Also, big news coming Saturday or Sunday. Lessons are for ages 8+ and pony rides are for ages 3-10
Horsemanship lessons $40 - includes grooming, tacking, riding or ground work. 45-60 minutes
Riding lessons $60 - includes riding only. 30 minutes
Pony rides $20 - includes riding a horse while being led. 15 minutes
SCHOOL SCHEDULE STARTS AUGUST 11TH
Monday - 9am, 3pm, 4pm, 6:30pm (pony rides only)
Tuesday - 9am, 3pm, 4pm, 6:30pm (pony rides only)
Wednesday - 10am, 3pm, 4pm, 6:30pm (pony rides only)
Thursday - 3pm, 4pm, 6:30pm (pony rides only)
Friday - 10:30am, 3pm
Saturday - 11am-1pm (pony rides only)
Sunday - 2pm-4pm (pony rides only)

Attention ALL students current and past:
Vixie has been sold. She will be going to Colorado on Saturday to be a barrel pony for another girl. If you want to come say goodbye to the sweet Vix pony, we will be having a party for her Friday 7pm-8pm.
Favorite treats of Vixie's are strawberry poptarts and brown sugar poptarts. She is picky. We will paint her with pony safe paint and get LOTS of photos and videos of her with her favorite students.
This is not the end of the lesson program by any means! The new addition to our program will be joining us soon and all info on them will be provided once they have settled in. We will still post our school schedule in the next week.

Please remember to bring water bottles to lessons over the summer! Its hot and humid, I don't want someone getting dehydrated.

*Lessons and leases update*

Due to the high increase in lesson interest, the lesson horses will only be available for lessons. The 1/4, 1/2, and full leases will not be available for the time being to ensure the horses get quality breaks between lessons. We are also looking to add horses to our program via lease or purchase.

1 lesson is $40
4 lessons is $160
6 lessons is $220/month ($240 value)
8 lessons is $280/month ($320 value)
10 lessons is $340/month ($400 value)

Lessons will be at the barn this weekend. Vixie got hurt pretty bad, but will make a full recovery in a few weeks.
