🌈 In Loving Memory of Edith 🌈
Edith was found wandering alone down a Kansas county road—abandoned, in pain, and left to fend for herself. She had suffered so much: ruptured eyes from untreated dry eye, painful tumors, and more heartbreak than any senior dog should ever endure.
But that wasn’t where her story ended. Thanks to this community, Edith got to experience love—real, unconditional love. She got soft beds, loving hands, desperately needed vet care, and the dignity she’d been denied for so long.
Recently, we noticed changes in her behavior that deeply concerned us. After sharing a video with our vet, we were told her cancer may have spread to her brain. At that point, we knew. The kindest choice was to let her go with peace and love.
So, we filled her final day with everything she loved snuggles, and our tradition—a chicken nugget feast. Surrounded by love, Edith peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge.
Edith mattered. Her life mattered. And we’re so grateful she got to spend her final chapter knowing safety, dignity, and care.
If you’d like to help cover the cost of her final care, we’d be incredibly grateful.
