🚨 Incoming zoomies! 🚨

Meet 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐨 — a pint-sized force of chaos, comedy, and cuddles. This wild child was born 5/7/2025 and is 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 on the move. He’s 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐈𝐕/𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐕, and current on his vaccines and prevention.

Pluto plays hard, pounces harder, and believes gravity is optional. He’s fine with other cats but doesn’t understand the concept of personal space (or boundaries). We’re not sure how he’d do with kids or dogs — but if they can handle a tiny feline tornado with the confidence of a WWE wrestler, they might just be the perfect match.

🚨 BREAKING: New face of quiet luxury spotted lounging in a stainless steel suite. Her name? 𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐢. 🖤

This 10-week-old tuxedo icon isn’t here for your chaos, Chad. She’s here for cozy naps, light cuddles, and refined conversation about the benefits of early spay/neuter. 😼✨

Suki is a 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝐅𝐈𝐕/𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐕 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, and up to date on her vaccine and prevention schedule. She’s chill with other cats but will 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 pretend not to know them if they get too rowdy. As for dogs and kids? The jury’s still out—but Suki says, “Proceed with caution.”

If you’re looking for a kitten who prefers jazz over screamo and lap time over parkour, Suki might be your girl. 🐾

🎉 Big Congratulations to Lauren! 🎉

We’re so excited to announce that Lauren is the newest recipient of our 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦!

Lauren first joined Pamlico Animal Hospital in 2021 as a kennel assistant and quickly proved herself as a dedicated and compassionate team member. After working her way into a veterinary assistant role, she took a brief break to move out of state—but we were thrilled to welcome her back in 2023! Since then, she’s supported our team in both reception and treatment, but she truly shines as a veterinary assistant.

Now, Lauren is taking the next big step in her veterinary journey by enrolling in 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦—all while working full-time and raising two young children. 💪💜

We’re proud to support her through this program and can’t wait to watch her grow into a licensed veterinary technician!

🥛 Meet Oreo — Our Mysterious Snack-Sized House Panther 🐾

Oreo is a professional-level hide-and-seek champion who recently found himself in need of a new home after realizing that loud kiddos and energetic dogs just aren’t his vibe.

🐱 Gets along well with other cats
🚫 No dogs or small children, please — Oreo is more of a “cozy blanket and soft music” kind of guy.

If your home is calm, cat-savvy, and comes with a good napping spot (or three), Oreo might just be your new low-key best friend. He’s shy at first, but under the right conditions, he’s a total sweetheart with a flair for the dramatic.

She brings a blend of warmth, encouragement, and humor that lifts everyone around her.
Her customer service skills are top-notch, and she brings a special spark to our front desk. No day at PAH is complete without Lisa’s groovy dance moves, corny dad jokes, and her laughs (always followed by snorts!)
