Hey all! Allow me to reintroduce myself and answer some questions 🙂
I’m Abby, a junior at the University of Illinois studying Ag and Consumer Economics!
Yes, I am still watching animals, both farm livestock and household pets! I have had this side gig for 3 years now and have serviced over 50 houses (I am so blessed)!!
I have lots of experience around all types of animals and have many referrals if you ever want one! In my time caring for animals I have had to administer medication and deal with unforeseen medical circumstances, proving just how vital good communication and strong knowledge is when it comes to caring for your beloved pets!
To be fully transparent, my family goes to the lake on the weekends over the summer so sometimes it is not possible for me to let your dog out every 4-6 hours. During the school year I also juggle school work, leadership positions, this animal business, and another part time job. With that being said, I am fully confident in my ability to give all animals the love, attention, and care they deserve- my routine may just look a little different than yours does.
