Hello,

I would like to announce that the high-end car litter has made its debut in the world. They arrived around 5 pm last night through a C-section. We are blessed with seven healthy puppies, one girl and six boys.

Hello everyone,

here are Betty's x-rays from today's vet appointment to get a puppy count. The vet expects there to be at least nine puppies based on the x-ray.

I thought I would do something a little different. If anyone can guess the correct number of puppies and the genders. I will send them a goodie basket of my favorite dog treats that I give my corgis. Each person only gets one entry.

Betty’s due date is April 2. I can’t wait for these puppies to be here. Pray everything goes smooth smoothly.

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to announce that our program is expecting a new litter on April 3. We are grateful to Hamilton's breeder, Debbie Leonard, for collaborating with us on this breeding with Betty, which will result in a repeat litter. The previous litter met our expectations, and we anticipate similar success this time around.

Having not had a litter in over a year, we are particularly enthusiastic about this upcoming breeding. Following a puppy count scheduled for March 30, we plan to retain one to two puppies as potential show prospects.

Applications are now being accepted for this litter. If you are interested in obtaining an application, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Clyde made his debut this past month at the UKC Southern Classic. I am so proud of this little puppy. He walked great on a leash and did decent on the table. Not bad for a 15-week-old puppy at all.

He managed to snag a reserve best in show out of a lineup of nine puppies under Judge Tami Hayden. I cannot thank her enough for finding my boy out of that lineup; I am still so proud of him!

He also got to try an introduction to precision coursing and seemed interested in it. We'll see later on, once he fully develops, if he'll actually want to play that game or not, but I am so excited about his show career.

I forgot to even announce that I got him. I have been so focused on Rosalina. I waited a whole year for this litter and I am so happy that he is finally here.

Clyde is bred by Windmill Cardigan Welsh Corgis

out of Dayton (GCHP, BISS XIV Karat A Date To Remember RN, FDC, CGC, TKN, VC, TC, ROMVb) and Iris (GCH Sovereign Iridescence ATT, CGC, TKN, BCAT).

We are pleased to report on Rosalina's impressive performance at the UKC Southern Classic in Lubbock this past weekend. Making her UKC debut, Rosalina demonstrated her exceptional readiness for anything throw at her.

In pre-novice obedience, she qualified in one of her runs with a score of 187 out of 200. Additionally, she excelled in precise coursing and dash, qualifying in both events despite being introduced to them just the previous day, showcasing her evident enthusiasm for lure coursing. Rosalina secured all six best of breed wins and three group placements in conformation .

Her outstanding performance in the performance events also earned her a total dog qualification, securing her spot in the total dog competition.

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all staying warm despite the inclement weather. I've now had an opportunity to catch up on posting about my dogs' recent activities.

I recently omitted to report on Bonnie's achievement at the Nolan River Kennel Club show, where she successfully earned her bcat title with a total of six runs, averaging approximately 14 seconds per run. I am extremely proud of this accomplishment, and eagerly anticipate her future endeavors in performance events.

Holy moly, somebody pinch me! Little kid me is on cloud nine.

Hamilton's daughter Rosalina got a major yesterday at the Nolan River Kennel Club show. She got a three-point major; it would have almost made a four-point major if there had been a total of 12 females instead of 11 . Rosalina was beautifully shown by Ashley Miller with Windmill Handling.

I am just so proud of this little dog and what she has achieved before even hitting a year old. I've had dreams for her since she was first born. She has always been my favorite from her litter.

I'm hoping to send her off later this year to hopefully obtain her AKC champion. She is sitting at five points right now with a major. Two of which I have put on her myself.

This is just so special to me because this was the show where Hamilton also received his first major.

-PLACED -

Hello everybody ,

I am assisting a friend in rehoming their four-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Vente, who requires a new environment that can cater to his high energy levels and temperament. Registered with the American Kennel Club, Vente is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm preventatives, and has been neutered.

Due to his specific needs, an ideal home would feature a spacious, fenced-in yard and a female-only or submissive male dog household. Vente's fondness for playing ball and barking may not make him suitable for apartment living.

Currently residing in Cleveland, Texas arrangements can be made for meetups in the DFW area. If you're an active family seeking a compatible companion, Vente might be an excellent fit.

If you are interested in Vente, please message me to receive an application for him.

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to express my pride in the accomplishments of this father-daughter duo, who achieved a home run at the Cowboy Classic and Twister Classic. Yesterday, on his seventh birthday, Hamilton secured Reserve Best in Show under Bridget Brown, followed by Best in Show under Beth Downey. Rosalina earned Breed of Opposite under Beth Downey and then Best in Show under Bridget Brown.

Furthermore, we continued to excel. Hamilton, Rosalina, and Yoshi, representing Rustic Spur Kennels in the breeder showcase, culminated in our winning Best in Breeder Showcase. What a remarkable conclusion to the year showcasing the Pembrokes.

While I posted about Bonnie and Hamilton, I totally forgot to share that Rosalina has made her debut in the AKC showing ring. She has walked away so far with two points out of the 6- to 9-month-old puppy class. I'm really excited about this little girl; I can't wait to see what she achieves.

I originally offered to place her, and I'm glad that both of the people I reached out to about her ended up backing out. I love this little girl; she is everything I wanted in a Hamilton daughter.

Conformation won’t be the only ring that she will be playing in. We have been going to obedience and rally classes. That is why she has a hard time in the Conformation ring, because she wants to sit instead of stack.

I am belatedly posting Bonnie's accomplishments from last weekend.

At the Austin County club show on Friday, she earned a Select designation for a Grand Point, and on Sunday, she achieved Owner Handler Best to Breed and Select for a Grand Point and Champion Defeat. Furthermore, under Garry Newton, she secured an Owner Handler Group One. Bonnie was not exhibited on Saturday, as I was exhausted and opted to forego the show.

This week at the Cen-Tex Kennel club show, she garnered Best of Opposite and Owner Handler Best to Breed on both days. On Saturday, she earned a point toward her Grand Champion title. Although she chose not to participate in the group competition, instead opting to play and sit in the ring, her enjoyment was paramount.

All I have to say is that my mind is blown!

Hamilton and his kids knocked it out of the ballpark today at the Cen-Tex Kennel Club show. I didn’t even plan on bringing him this weekend, since I keep telling him that he’s retired, and then every now and then I decide to enter him in a show. I didn’t show Hamilton yesterday, since I didn’t have enough help. This is his first AKC show this year. I’m so glad I did bring him today, though.

He did me proud and won Best of Breed over an amazing lineup of Pembrokes. Then, after that, somebody pinched me! He took a regular Group Four with me at the end of his leash! It was a huge group of dogs. I am so honored that Hamilton was awarded this placement with me at the end of his lead. My old man still has it in him. Both of these amazing placements were awarded by Richard J Lewis.
