Our normal routine during Cross Country is Jim goes to Saturday invitationals and I go to weekday league meets, but McQuaid is something special. We will be watching our girl compete instead of coming to the Jamestown Farmers Market today, Saturday, September 27. Lantern's Hollow and Durow Farms Maple will have some of our mushrooms and of course they are always available at Carlberg Farm Produce Stand on Peck Settlement Rd. I'll be back next week!!

Announcing our next round of CSA membership enrollment!

Opening starting TODAY until full (or October 31st), we are accepting new members in our bi-weekly Fall/Winter 2025-2026 CSA. Become a member of our farm(s) and secure a box of in-season produce, mushrooms, milk or eggs for pick up every other Saturday for 15 weeks (8 boxes total).

Pay up front and show up to get your food, knowing exactly where it came from and who grew or produced it! Teamwork makes the dream work and produce will be seasonal vegetables and fruits grown either on our farm or Lantern's Hollow farm with some local produce supplemented (ie. local apples). Add on a box of mushrooms (1/2 pound or 1 pound options) from Barnett’s Mushrooms, a dozen farm fresh eggs (Carlberg Farm), or a 96 ounce of whole milk from Till Top Creamery to make your box more complete!

We dropped off some beautiful pearl oysters, bear’s head tooth, lion’s mane, and falcon oysters at Carlberg Farm Produce. Make sure to stop by anytime Monday through Saturday 10-6 and Sundays 11-5.

All set up on Broad Street in Salamanca. There’s only a few of us today but stop down to get some fruit, veggies, mushrooms, and other local products. We are here until 5pm!

Today, Sunday, September 21st is FALL-coner Fest from 12-5 in Davis Park! What a week for us! Thursday was Southwestern's home opener, Elorna Barnett was cheering on the shut-out from the student section. Friday Jim Barnett was at the last Ellicottville Farmers' Market for the season. Saturday was jammed with volunteering at the Jamestown Farmers Market table, selling mushrooms at our stand, Leigh Rovegno creating some awesome market baskets for a fun food challenge (more details to come), taking photos at the Lakers game, running the Southwestern Boys' Varsity Soccer game concession stand with some great girls from the class of 2027 (most of them got off their team bus from a varsity soccer game and came to help), and the Jay Hawks' home opener.
