The score sheets for Call Me Captain HH's recent outing at the Young Horse Show in Virginia! This was his very first under-saddle outing and I'm really proud of how well his good character really showed 😊. One of the best things about the YHS is all the comments the judges provide, and seeing that judge Saret Tola commented "well mannered and lovely" and "exciting prospect for future" was the icing on the cake of really excellent scores!

A wonderful update on Valora HH (Validation S/Animo's Hallo) and her girl!

"Congratulations to Lottie & her young 6 year old warmblood “Valora HH” for their success at Tryon Summer 4! This duo progressed so nicely over the week of showing. Earning TOP placings with a very competitive group of 16 Low Children’s Hunters! Even taking home 4th place honors in the Challenge...Her last 2 over fences scored an 80 & 82!"

Photo dump of Call Me Captain HH's first ever under-saddle outing!
He attended the Young Horse Show in Virginia over the weekend, bringing home 🥉in his four-year-old under saddle class with an 8.03, and then scoring a super 8.26 (for third place) in his jump chute class. Super happy with how he handled everything!

A little round up of HH-bred horses showing in the last few weeks! Congratulations to the following:

Graf von Zeppelin HH (Glasgow van't Merelesnest/Indoctro) placing third in his first ever 1.15m class @ Summer in the Rockies!

Also showing at Summer in the Rockies was Untouchable Hillside HH (Untouchable 27/Contefino) winning some of his Young Hunter classes as well as getting excellent ribbons in the low adult hunters.

At Tryon, we had Cassino Heist HH (Cassini II/Contendro), who after showing up to 1.30m earlier in his career is now showing in the non-pro jumpers with his current owner.

Pompeii HH (Cassini II/Narcos II) brought home ribbons at the Cascade Classic in the 1.0m Jr/Am jumpers with his owner.

And in Temecula we had Ninja HH (Nixon van't Meulenhof/Indoctro) winning one of his Young Hunter classes and contesting his first ever jumper class!

*Please know that if you have any HH bred horses and I've neglected to celebrate your successes, it's because I don't know about them! It's very hard to keep track of all the show results out there, so please let me know if I ever miss you!

Inching towards the end of our foaling season! At 5:15 this morning the arrival of this big, strong Livello/Contefino/Capitol I c**t moved us one step closer to wrapping up the 2025 foaling season

Horse show updates from HH bred horses over the last few weeks!
After her first Grand Prix win over the winter, Zendaya HH (Zirocco Blue/Colander), bred in partnership with Wilhelm Genn, is back in the ring. In the last few weeks she's been in the ribbons in the modified Grand Prix at the Caledon Welcome, and in the Welcome and $25,000 Grand Prix at the System Equine Cup!

Benicio HH (Banderas/Lonely Boy) had multiple ribbons in the 1.15m open jumpers and the 1.10m Amateur jumpers during his two weeks in Temecula!

Krown Jewel HH (Emerald/Indoctro) won a 1.20m Jr/Am class with her owner last week in Wellington!

Pompeii HH and his owner brought home several ribbons in their 1.0m Jr/Am jumpers classes at Thunderbird!

Congratulations to all these horses and their people! So much fun seeing them all out there 😊

The last of our Young Horse Show photos and updates!
Two-year-old Zirocco's Ninja HH (Zirocco Blue/Indoctro), owned by Taryn Pearce was 4th in her in-hand/at liberty class with an 8.03 (scoring highlight of 8.4 for her canter) and 2nd in her free-jumping class with an 8.1. I have very much enjoyed raising this filly for her owner!
My own Lelarnike HH (Le Blue Diamond van't Ruytershof/Indorado) qualified for finals in both her in-hand/at liberty class (score of 7.78, with a highlight of 8.3 for canter) and her jump chute class with a score of 7.70. I love my big, sweet girl 🖤
