I expected all black . . . I’m guessing the one will be a black tort??🤷🏻‍♀️s

RIP Precious Girl
Di’s Litt’l Angels Norka, SS Doe

Norka just passed away, literally, in my arms. I’m absolutely heart broken. Her mama, GC Di’s Litt’l Angels Amber Lamora, SS, was one of my first GCs (along with her SS brother and REW sister).

Norka was ready to kindle her first litter and something went terribly wrong. Sadly, I was so sick yesterday that I didn’t even make it out to the barn. My son said she was hopping around and looked fine when he checked them all last night. When I went out this evening (first time I’ve felt up to it in 2 days), she was just laying there, not moving. When I opened the door, she moved a little, but not much. I carefully picked her up and knew we had a problem. She was smelly. I checked her bum, and sure enough, a kit was stuck. We got the kit out, followed immediately by afterbirth and puss. She started seizing and died instantly. I couldn’t do anything but cry. I loved her so much and was so excited about her being a mama. Her mama was such a good mama to her! I was just saying the other day that I’ve never had this happen (stuck kit). Well - i have now - - and it sucks!

I have 4 other first time mamas due any day …. Upon checking them, they all seem to be doing fine. Please keep me and them in your prayers.

Right now I’m just really sad!😢
