Congratulations to Bo Jangles! not only did she pass her Canine Good Citizen test two weeks ago…this past week she got ADOPTED! She has gone to join her daughter and family! Her daughter was one of our pups adopted last year as a little pup. So happy for this girl!!! Thank you to her amazing adopters for having not one, but two of our dogs! 💕

This week has been super busy! Our resident Charlotte, gave birth to her sweet pack of eight! Yes, you read that right...eight pups from such a tiny mama! There are three of the brindle persuasion, 2 fawn/cream, 1 white with liver spots and 2 black pups. They were born on Thursday, July 17. We will be accepting applications and once these guys are spayed/neutered. We will get good individual pics in a week or so...right now, we are letting mama get them strong. She is a fantastic mom and very easy to work with! Such a sweet girl!

Welcome to this sweet girl. She appears to be a lab mix of some type, and while the picture doesnt capture it well, she is about to burst with pups. Thank you to Lathrop Animal Center for reaching out to find her a soft spot to land to whelp these babies. But there is one problem...we don't have a name!

Welcome gang! These sweet babies, Molly (who is the mom) and her two pups, Milo and Felicity joined our pack on Monday! These are three sweet as heck pups with a huge story (coming soon)...these are some of the happiest loving pups we have had come through here. Thanks to Dr. Stacy for squeezing these guys in for their spay/neuter appointments and vetting next week which will help them be able to move into a forever home soon! You can meet them on Sunday at Pet Food Express on Freeport from 1-3pm. though they won't be able to go home until their spay/neuters. Stay tuned for more to come on these guys!

These three amigos are celebrating! No, they haven't found their forever home yet...but they did finally get their turn to enter our prison training program last week! These three will be trained to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Wave has been in before, but is getting a refresher to help him adjust after his family had to move. Wouldn't you love to have one of these three great dogs after they complete their training? Apply now so that we can get them home as soon as they complete training! She is bursting with pups and a bum leg…fortunately she had.a checkup with Dr. Griffith who said it was just a minor sprain and should heal right up! This sweet mama will be available for adoption once her pups are weaned. Reading a dog’s body language is like learning a second language—and it’s one of the most important things we can do to keep dogs (and people) safe.

We often misunderstand confident dogs as “good” and fearful dogs as “bad,” but here’s the truth:

🔹 Confident dogs may try to “handle things themselves.” They often appear bold, forward, and in control—but without structure, they can become pushy or reactive.
🔹 Fearful dogs may seem timid or shy, but if cornered or overwhelmed, fear can become aggression. Many bites happen because a fearful dog felt like they had no other option.

The key to both? Structure and Clarity.
When we recognize the signs—like forward posture, tail set, ear position—we can better meet our dogs where they are.

At Infinite PawsAbilities, we train our teams to identify body language and respond appropriately—turning fearful dogs into confident learners and confident dogs into respectful partners.
