Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Juniper's for some yoga in the park WITH GUINEA PIGS!

We will be welcoming the longest day of the year with a yoga class instructed by Nile Morris at 11:30am on Saturday, June 21st at the APIA building (1131 E International Airport Rd). Enjoy the sunshine, stretching, and squeaks while you flow through a gentle yoga class surrounded by guinea pigs!

Spots in this class are limited to 40participants - tickets are $15 and all proceeds support our rescue pigs.

Nina found a home, AND two new sisters!!

This is tremendous for sweet little Nina because she was previously identified as a pig that wouldn't bond with other pigs. Through a lot of patience, hard work, and a special gift for piggies, Chandelle and her daughter were able to bond Nina to their current pigs. While they intended to foster her, they foster-failed and have decided to be her fur-ever home.

It's World Veterinary Day!

Juniper's often works with veterinarians at Hillside Pet Clinic and Ravenwood to ensure the health and well being of all of our piggies. They have helped us in so many ways - supporting us by sharing our donation links, giving pregnant piggies ultrasounds, and just last summer they came to the rescue to give health checks to the group of piggies that were abandoned in Wasilla. 🚨 URGENT: Volunteers, Fosters, and SuppliesNeeded ASAP for 18 Guinea Pigs Due To Emergency Surrender🚨

This week, Juniper’s Guinea Pig Rescue was contacted by an owner needing to surrender 18 guinea pigs immediately due to an emergency. While they are well cared for and beloved pets, the owner needs to find them new homes immediately. You may have seen our post from last week about nearing capacity. While we will be hitting capacity in taking in these pigs to help this owner, there are a few ways you can help so that we can continue to rescue all the piggies that need new homes!

VOLUNTEER: With so many pigs to care for, including the pigs already at our rescue, volunteers are crucial to running our rescue smoothly. Some of these tasks are: assist in administrative support, cage cleaning, grooming, guinea pig socialization, and general maintenance. FOSTER: Fostering is a huge help to the rescue because when piggies are in a temporary home, there is room at the rescue for more guinea pigs to be taken in.
