This summer someone called about Penny, living in neglectful *to say the least* conditions. She was living in a concrete basement covered in her own excrement. There were piles of f***s and urine all over the “pen” made out of card board boxes. The owners were only feeding her scraps of bread. The worst part is that this family went out of their way to buy this dog from a store only to treat her this way. Luckily Penny is resilient and despite all of this, she blossomed into a beautiful fun loving girl. Her amazing new parents are giving her the life she deserves. She has a GSP brother that she adores. Happy life Penny 🎀

Foster needed to save this stray friendly cat!

Does anyone have room to take in a potentially sick cat? We believe she’s still a kitten. She’s very underweight, practically skin and bones, and needs care.

She is located in Sharon Springs but can be transported to the Albany area.

If you can foster, please message us so we can get this baby indoors and to a vet as soon as possible. ❤️

Nala is a beautiful, smart and sensitive 4 year old 33 lb spayed female Mini American Shepherd (aka Mini Aussie Shepherd) who is looking for her special person.

She has great basic skills and does well with veterinary care and grooming. Nala is highly fearful of children so is looking for an adult only home.

Nala is currently in a foster home with other dogs and tends to mind her own business-she will often go off to her own room with her little pile of soft toys. She is very sensitive to household sounds- she can be easily startled and starts to bark, so will benefit from a predictable, calm routine and a quiet setting. Nala would enjoy a physically fenced yard, but has done well with leash walks in her current foster setting. We are looking for an adopter who is committed to using force free training methods.

Nala’s favorite things are soft stuffed toys and food! She is a clever little girl who loves to learn and who needs someone to believe in her and help her through her challenges.
