Don’t worry we are still serving Albany and Westchester counties, but we have a new PO Box! We’re testing our informed delivery so we thought it would be fun to try to raise 151 dollars in honor of the new box. If you’d like to send us a few dollars, remember just $6 can buy a bag of food to feed our hamsters for months, no amount is too little. We’d also love pet store gift cards! Meet Snap! Our vet reached out to us about a beloved 10 year old rabbit whose owner had fallen on hard times and was facing the heartbreaking decision of how to keep her safe and cared for. After a decade of love and dedication, asking for help was not easy. This is a senior rabbit, currently on medication for bladder stones, so we are providing hospice style foster care to keep her comfortable, supported, and closely monitored.

This is what community looks like. Rescue is not just about the animal, it is about showing up for people during some of their hardest moments. We are honored to make sure this sweet bunny remains safe and cared for, while also ensuring the person who loved her for 10 years feels compassion and support, not judgment.
