🚨URGENT! Buster is in need of a temporary foster and or adopter OR rescue TODAY!🚨

At 9 years old and almost a year of being in a foster home relaxing, putting on some much needed weight, and going through heartworm treatment, Buster is being returned to the kennels today. We desperately need a place for him to hang out at and quickly - not only are we completely out of space due to renovations, but Buster does not do well in this environment due to his age. He is good with other dogs, but he does have a high prey drive so we recommend a home with no cats or other small animals unless kept completely separate.

Adopting from foster means you get first-hand insight from the person who knows them best. Not quite ready to commit? Ask us about Foster-to-Adopt, where you can take them home on a trial basis to make sure it’s the perfect fit.

Ben is a 3 month old baby who’s waiting his turn for a hero….He’s a certified cutie-patootie and full-blooded heartthrob! We already know what you’re gonna ask….

”How big will get?”
“What breed is he?”

But let’s be real, we never really know a dog’s breed, size, or backstory when they come to us. And honestly? It doesn’t matter.

What does matter is that these rescued dogs are special—and adopting one is just as rewarding for you as it is for them. 🐾

Ben’s adoption fee is waived if you come meet him today since we still desperately need dogs out! Just be sure you’re ready for a puppy and all that comes with raising one! They need time, patience, and a chance to learn a routine—just like any baby would. 🥰

In case you didnt know….It’s Wishlist Wednesday! And with 81 dogs and puppies on our “payroll” right now (yes, EIGHTY-ONE 😅), we could really use your help!

We go through supplies FAST with the high numbers we have had lately—between food and cleaning supplies to treats and collars/leashes. If you’ve ever wanted to do something small that makes our dogs happier and healthier while they are with us, this is it.💙

You can shop online from our Amazon Wishlist (link is in the comments!) or drop off locally bought goodies or even gently used items during our regular hours (Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, and Saturdays from 8AM-4PM). Maybe meet a dog or two while you’re here!?

She’s a fun, loving, always excited girl who’s ready for her next adventure! She loves playtime, long walks, and exploring new places. She would be perfect for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle or has another dog looking for a good playmate! She’s smart, eager to learn, and will be a wonderful addition to a family! This dog was found at a residence off of Alford Rd. in Grant. She had crawled up underneath a car and our officers arrived and discovered her in rough shape once she was out…..Emaciated, dehydrated, anemic, and unable to hardly stand from being so weak. This girl sadly passed away before we even made it to the vet with her. Our hearts are broken that we didn’t get to her in time, but we still gave her a name - rest in peace, Sara. 🩷 Please keep our ACOs in your thoughts, this week has started out rough for them and the dogs.
