Some days she has an appetite and others look like this. She’s definitely interested in hand picked raspberries from the garden but doesn’t seem to have the energy to eat them. The interesting is there. It’s in these moments that meds are usually needed. I can tell she’s in a little pain so the meds must be wearing off. Not every day is a good day but every day we get with her is a blessing!!

Lenny has been hanging in there. I’ve have noticed her have trouble catching cockroaches, superworms and hornworms even though I’m handing them to her. So you’ll see at the end how she tries so hard which is why I comment “wow! On the first try!” At the start of the video. Lenny is full of fluid but we still have to keep her hydrated. The irony of that I am not lost on. So her abdomen is filled with fluid and I don’t know if that’s why her eyes are always watering but everyday she has loads of watery eyes I have to wipe off so she can see. Otherwise she is in good spirits and loves her cuddles.

Just another Sunday Funday. It’s very rare momma has a weekend off of shows. So to make the most of it and be fair she cuddled with everyone all at once!! lol

I was really worried about Lenny yesterday not feeling the best but it seems the pain meds worked a little better today. All the cuddles for as long as I possibly can.

Not the greatest video but it’s about her not about content. We just happen to be sharing her story. Shes struggling to eat but as you can see handling her own. We’re still having breathing issues but nothing too drastic. She’s stable and doing well as far as I’m concerned.

For those of you who have been around since the beginning here’s a video to show some of her change. Lenny would chase cockroaches around her Viv or rip them out of the tongs. Her love for those kind of proteins always left a smile on her face. Now we miss when trying to catch them, we have a hard time breathing after each one. It’s almost like she exhorts the same amount of energy just getting them as she does the benefit of eating them. For those just joining it kinda looks like her brother Sol when trying to eat his food with vision impairment. But for those of us who know, it’s a little sad. 😔
