Rolling Ridge Rescue Our goal is to help neglected and abandoned dogs and horses. We are located in Cullman, AL. We have been saving animals since 2019.

Rolling Ridge Rescue is 100 % volunteer and foster based rescue organization focused on saving doodle/poodle type dogs. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Alabama shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect. We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost

all hope. All of the animals we house, feed, transport and provide vet care for are funded solely from donations! RRR receives no funds from any state or federal sources. We are just a few people trying to make a difference. We do charge an adoption fee for our animals and an adoption contract must be signed as well. CashAPP $RRRESCUE39

When Eloise Peck’s mom sent me some thoughts to share about her daughter who did not survive the flood at Camp Mystic, the first thing she said was ā€œShe loved spaghetti, but not more than she loved dogs and animals.ā€
Now, her parents have asked me to share, you can make sure the love that Eloise (who was affectionately known as ā€œLuluā€) had for animals is carried far beyond her short life by donating to a memorial fund set up by her parents for Blueberry Hill Farm and Rescue.
At just eight years old, Lulu’s profound love and compassion for animals shone brightly, reflecting the purity and kindness of her heart. She started a dog walking service this summer with 25% of her earned proceeds going to Blueberry Hill Farm and Rescue.
The memorial fund will continue Lulu's legacy by helping to provide care, love, and support to animals in need. Her parents, Missy and Tim, will be notified each time a donation has been made as a reminder of the kindness their daughter embodied.

THIS!!! Please take FIVE minutes to protect your dogs before heading out to celebrate with friends and family. Make sure collars are on WITH NAMETAGS.

If your pet is scared of fireworks, medicate them, secure them, and BRING THEM INSIDE. The next few days will be flooded with lost pet posts.

Common sense is free.
Don’t even let your dog out in a secure-fenced yard without you being right there with them. One loud pop and they can leap a fence in terror—it happens every year.

When a Cherokee County family asked for help finding a place where their beloved golden retriever could swim one last time, the community didn’t hesitate.

Their dog, Mason, had just been diagnosed with a critical illness. In their heartbreak, they posted a simple request, hoping someone might have a pool or a quiet creek where he could feel peace again. What they received in return was overwhelming.

Dozens of people from across Cherokee County opened their hearts and their homes. They offered pools, lakes, creeks, and ponds. Strangers sent prayers. Neighbors reached out. The family was deeply moved by the outpouring of compassion.

On Friday, Mason got his last swim. He was calm, happy, and surrounded by love.

He spent that evening with grilled nuggets and ice cream from Chick-fil-A, just off Riverstone Parkway. On Saturday, as his energy began to fade, he rested at home with his favorite people. He had a grilled steak, more ice cream topped with whipped cream, all his favorite treats, and even a beer with his dad.

He spent time with his Grammy and Papa, and with a neighbor who often chatted with him over the fence. That night, his mom held him close, talking to him through the dark.

By Sunday morning, they knew it was time. Mason had eggs and a full pound of bacon, followed by one last indulgence, two peanut butter Reese’s Cups, before saying goodbye, wrapped in the arms of the family who adored him.

Mason was so much more than a pet. He was a road trip buddy, a conversation starter, a joy-spreader. From the mountains of Colorado to the beaches of Florida, he never met a stranger. And if Mason couldn’t go, they didn’t go. That’s the kind of love he inspired.

His family wanted to thank Cherokee County, for reminding them that even in the middle of heartbreak, kindness still shows up. They are heartbroken, but forever grateful.

Thank you for loving Mason ā¤ļø

This is hard to watch… but it’s the reality of slaughter life. While this particular footage isn’t from Alabama, we have several auction houses here that sell to kill pen buyers.

My own horse, Jagger, came from the Stanley Brothers auction in Attalla. He was also sold to a kill pen, and I was incredibly fortunate to buy him before he shipped. He’s turned out to be the best horse I’ve ever known.

****Until our federal, state, and local governments step up and make real changes, this heartbreaking cycle will continue. Please keep that in mind when you vote in the upcoming election. Change truly can start with just one person****

šŸ¤Ž MEET JONESšŸ¤Ž

I love a good before-and-after… and just look at this boy! šŸ¤Ž In just two months of love and care, Jones has transformed into such a handsome, happy pup. He is ready to find his forever family.

Jones is the total package:
* Approximately 1.5 years old- male doodle
* Neutered, heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and on preventatives.
* House-trained
* leash-trained (no pull at all)
* rides like a pro in the car (lays in the back seat floor super calm)
* Gentle, calm, and incredibly easy to please
* Gets along wonderfully with all dogs and loves every human he meets
* Not destructive at all—just wants to be your best buddy

He’s still growing his hair back and will be groomed before adoption. He hasn’t been officially cat-tested, but if that’s important to you, we’re happy to arrange it.

* Located in Cullman, Alabama
* Adoption fee and contract apply. Please email or DM is to request an adoption application for Jones.

Jones is truly one of the good ones. So easy going! It’s so hard to not let myself fall in love with this one! Let’s find him the forever home he deserves.

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED FOR JULY! 🚨
(Hit SHARE)

Josie’s wedding is quickly approaching (July 25th), and I’m needing help more than ever this month so I can truly focus on my only daughter’s big day. šŸ’•

Adoptions are so slow right now. I rarely ask for help when it comes to the pups and try to handle things on my own, but this time, I need to lean on my village. I’m looking for temporary fosters for just the month of July for two amazing boys:

🐾 JONES (male brown/white doodle)
This 1.5-year-old doodle is as good as they get!
* House-trained
* Great with everyone he meets — humans and dogs
* Calm, easygoing, and well-behaved
* Neutered, up to date on shots, and ready to chill with a loving foster family
* he is as perfect as they come!
* excellent on a leash
* lazy boy when he is inside the house.
* only wants to please you.

🐾 KING (male tri color pit mix- he’s gorgeous)
He’s the happiest, most lovable 3 year old pup you’ll ever meet! Not joking- he is truly the HAPPIEST dog I’ve ever been around!
* House-trained
* Loves people and dogs alike
ā—ļøHe does get super excited and will jump, so no small kids please — he’s not aggressive at all- shown zero aggression, just bouncy! (And sooo soooo happy)
* Neutered, up to date on shots
* Not cat-tested
* Loves car rides

šŸ–¤ If you can open your heart and home temporarily, it would mean the world to me (and to them) All food- supplies etc will be provided by the rescue.

Good morning. We’re on the road today with King and Jones. Both are headed to be neutered and microchipped now that they’re healthy and have gained some much-needed weight. These boys have come such a long way especially poor Jones.

They are awesome in the car. I always like to share videos so you can see for yourself just how amazing they are (because sometimes a video speaks louder than words in their descriptions)

If you’re someone who loves to travel and you’re looking for a happy passenger, King might be your perfect copilot.

🩷Oakley update🩷

I had the joy of puppy-sitting Oakley this week, and if you remember her, she was one of the worst cases I’ve ever taken in, truly heartbreaking. She was the skinniest ā€œlivingā€ dog I had ever seen.

Fast forward to now… she’s absolutely stunning.
So happy, so playful, and the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. And honestly… she’s one of the most well-behaved dogs I’ve ever been around.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a year (July 28!) since we rescued her and her brother Iggy (now Moose). Getting to watch Oakley while her mom is on vacation has been such a full-circle moment. So many times this week I’ve just stopped and stared at her in awe.

So many of you donated toward their care, and I just wanted to share a few pictures to show how far she’s come. THIS is what your donations did! This is what love, proper care, and a second chance can do. 🩷
