Update 7/12
We have 2 amazing ladies working to trap this cat and a vet appointment is set for Monday so hopefully we can get him trapped. If anyone would like to donate to his medical here is our secure link-

Update- we are pretty confident we know the house that feeds him. Someone will be going there tomorrow to talk to the person and see what we can work out. Sounds as tho the person is elderly and cannot trap, would anyone be willing to work on this for me?
Remember this cat?
We originally posted about it back at the end of May. And here we are—a month + later—and nothing has been done. Not one person in the entire Salt Creek Subdivision in South Haven took real action beyond sending a message.
This cat is feral, visibly suffering, and still roaming the neighborhood looking like this—through record heat and likely dealing with a nasty, painful infection under that dryer vent. It’s heartbreaking, and honestly, it’s unacceptable.
At what point do we stop looking the other way when an animal is in distress?
It’s not enough to just tag a rescue and hope someone else handles it. I’m one person—I cannot run around a subdivision playing search and rescue alone. What’s needed here is community effort: someone willing to step up, set traps, monitor the situation, and get this cat the veterinary care it so obviously needs.
To make it worse, the woman feeding this cat was supposed to be told about our original post—and still, nothing.
So again, now what? If you live in that area and are willing to help take REAL action, please step up. Because this cat deserves better. And we simply can’t do it all alone.
