Hey guys!!

Operation "SAFE FENCE" is underway on the farm today‼️
Its time to get those piggies out on the hill with the cows!!

We were able to salvage and transport over 100 pre-used fence posts that were donated from a local friend and farmer!

BUT now we need YOUR help!!

The rolls of wire fencing required to cover the field perimeter will cost us roughly $1,100 to purchase! We have a strong 💪 crew, ready to install- we're just a bit short on our materials!!

Every donation of $25 or more will recieve a tshirt or small merch item of their choice- while supplies lasts! (Key chains, lanyards, ornaments, shot glasses, pens, pencils, car Decals, water bottles, pocket knife keychains and coffee mugs!!)

Hey farmer friends!

We're looking to borrow 6-8 temporary livestock pannels for the colebrook fair on August 30th!!

Annebell will be pooping in the Cow Plop Raffle to benefit Colebrook Recreation!

We need to borrow pannels for 4 days- Thursday-Sunday! We can pickup and return them!

Holly is a key part of our farm team, always so reliable with paddock cleaning and daily chores. Her hard work, close attention to detail, and her kindness and compassion towards the animals never go unnoticed!!

We’re also SO PROUD to share that she just completed the Advanced Skills and Concepts program at the Connecticut Fire Academy! 🔥🚒 What an incredible achievement‼️

It’s the mooo-st wonderful time of the year… hoof trimming day! 🐮

Yesterday, Tim came out to give our cows and bulls their annual pedicow-ure. Healthy hooves are udderly important — they help our herd roam the pasture, graze with ease, and strut their stuff in comfort.

This doesn’t hurt them one bit — in fact, they seemed to actually enjoy their time in the chute! 🐄💅

Thanks to our legendairy supporters, we covered the cost for this round. Now we’re looking ahead to their next trim in the spring and are hoping to round up some partial sponsors! 💓

Four beautiful young roosters were sadly dumped in Winsted last week, and we’re urgently seeking safe, loving homes for them.

These boys are not aggressive, but they are understandably nervous and will need a little time and patience to adjust to a new flock or environment. They’re absolutely stunning and have the potential to be wonderful protectors for your hens.

If you have space, a small flock, or know someone looking to welcome a handsome new guardian, please reach out ASAP!
They have overstayed their welcome in quarantine and are desperate to find a safe home!
