Originally opened in 1992 as Avocado Animal Clinic by Dr. Olson, the Hospital has been under new ownership since 2015 and has been renovated. We are a family owned practice and pride ourselves in leading the city of Homestead in top-notch veterinary care and services. In Fall of 2021 we will be moving 9 blocks south to a stand alone 3000 sq ft building once construction is done. Practice Manager &

It is with a heavy heart that we share with our Avocado Animal Hospital family that Dr. Lowell Olson, founder of Avocado Animal Clinic, passed away this morning. He started Avocado Animal Clinic in the eighties and served the Homestead community for decades before he retired in 2017. His dedication and partnership was crucial to making Avocado Animal Hospital was it is today. He will forever be a part of the Avocado legacy. We send our condolences to his family and his longtime clients.
