We absolutely love Wobbles & Stomps and their mission. ♥️ These heroes help animals with disabilities and other medical issues while providing a safe haven for them to be loved. Please consider donating for sweet Thumbelina. She was born with only her two back legs and is now strong enough and “big” enough to start getting her other health issues in check. Thumbelina went to the vet today for her final puppy vaccines! Most of our pups and kittens are vaccinated in-house, but Bellini is different in so many ways. Because of her disability and previous exams, we have known that there could be internal issues that pop up.

Today, she was big enough (8 whole pounds!) to confirm that she, indeed, has a heart murmur. Grade III. It isn't the worst, but it is a cause for concern, especially when looking at getting her spayed or any other surgeries.

Her "Nemo Fin" has two nails growing from it, but they are growing in tight circles, and it might be easier on her to take those toes off, or the whole "fin."

Regardless, we can't make those decisions without seeing the extent of the heart murmur. Our next step is a heart specialist and test to see what kind of murmur (septum or valve) and how severe it really is.

The good news is that her "T-Rex" arm may be able to work with a prosthetic peg leg instead of a wheelchair/cart! Once we have an idea about her heart, that's our next adventure. Maybe she and GABA can have matching legs!

Anyway, she thinks this is all very silly and would like some new toys to attack.

Want to spend some time and help a shelter dog but can't adopt? No problem, come by and take a dog for a DOGGY DAY OUT!

It allows the dogs to escape the kennel life for a day, socialize with other people and animals, and promotes them for adoption! Not only do the dogs LOVE it, but it is FREE to do!

What is your responsibility for a doggy day out?
1. pick out a best friend to spend the day with 🐶
2. spoil the pup to the best of your ability (ideas below)🥰
3. return the dog to the shelter in 1 piece...or you can adopt it!😉
