Today Drago left for his new home. So excited for him, but it’s always bittersweet to see them go. I have had the honor of loving Drago for the past two years. I pulled up some pictures of when I first got him, two years ago, to share with his new momma and was absolutely blown away by how much he grew 😳 when you see them every day but you don’t notice the transformation as much. And the two years I’ve had him he has grown about 2 feet. He is standing currently around 17.3.-18 hands tall. He is his new family‘s dream horse and they are so excited to add him to their family. I can’t wait to follow his new journey. I had to share a few pictures of when I first got him and him now.

My Smooch and Miss Ava came up to visit the Rescue yesterday. Many treats were given along with so much love. Rocky was also a semi agreeable participant in some pony rides🤪❤️. Thank you Ava for letting me share this video 😍

Today our last Feral horse found her next stepping stone. We rescued Leia and her foal Jengo after we saw her video in a kill pen and her placenta was still hanging out of her. We rehomed her sweet babe and she’s just been living her best life for the past several years. We worked on touch and then she was rewarded. Never mean or nasty, I just didn’t have time to do more and she deserved more. I found an amazing opportunity for her. Today when we were loading her she was calm, We cornered her off at the rear of the trailer and she was uncertain. She let me do more than just a touch today, she let me rub her face 😭 I got inside the trailer and offered her feed and she accepted. She literally walked into the trailer as calm as can be. I might never be enough, but she made me feel that it’s all been worth it. She arrived and they were able to halter her and said s she’s a whole new horse since haltered. I often question if I’m doing enough, but today I truly felt that I served a purpose and big things are about to happen for our amazing girl 🙌❤️
