Cooper Van Weiren park has expanded their bike trail so we did a little loop around. Please keep dogs on leash. Ottawa County Parks and Recreation

Beach day at Lake Mac with Monty and Fennec and back to Maddie’s for some bobbing for Mango treats, fetch and play-time.

Donations from boarding and cat visits allowed us to buy a Triple decker holding cage for the TNR project in Dorr. She is being held in this trap until she is spayed through Wishbone TNR program.

Update: This kitty turned out NOT to be LED Light. She is a few years old and had already been spayed. However, she will keep the name Led.

Drum roll, please 🥁🥁🥁 Rick trapped LED Light!!!

LED Light is the sibling to the two Lights I fostered last year, Strobe the calico and Taillight the black with the white tail tip. Rick spent 3-4 days a week for 5 weeks trying to trap LED with no luck. That last week, I came to realize, LED was getting too old to socialize for adoption. So, we made the decision to stop trying to get the kitten.

LED is female. Rick made sure she wasn't nursing. Hopefully, she has not had kittens at all yet, as she is only a year old. However, she is probably pregnant. I won't know, unless the TNR vet mentions it to Rick as the paperwork goes to Wishbone.

She will be staying in our new holding cage for two nights. After what happened with the grey female earlier this year, I am paranoid of spay incisions coming open. I'm not sure how I will monitor that on a feral, but I will do my best.
