Why does your cat suddenly attack their sibling or even... you?
It might be redirected aggression—and it’s not personal. 😾➡️👣
When your cat sees a strange animal outside (like a passing cat or raccoon), their natural fight-or-flight response kicks in. But if they can’t reach the intruder, they might take that built-up energy out on whatever’s closest—even you.
Try to gently interrupt the trigger by blocking the view, and give your cat time to cool off.
They’re not mad at you. They’re just overwhelmed and doing what cats do best: react.
