CFFR is an all volunteer foster-based 501c3 whose mission is to find homes for kittens & cats in need

We believe that providing loving home environments and individualized personal care for our cats and kittens in foster homes, helps ensure a healthier, more natural and far less stressful experience for our animals than having them in traditional shelter environments. Since many of our fosters are now staying home to work, they are able to spend the time and energy needed to properly socialize and

tend to the specific needs of the cats and kittens in their care to best prepare them for their forever homes.

Lucky Charm Alert! Meet Cindy – Our March Cat of the Month! Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! My name is Cindy Richards, and I’m here to tell you that if you adopt me, you’ll be the luckiest human alive! I may not be a leprechaun, but with my fancy tuxedo coat, striking half-mustache, and mesmerizing golden-copper eyes, I definitely bring the charm!

At just three years young, I’m the purrfect mix of feisty, funny, and affectionate. I love to play, chat (yes, I’ll talk to you AND my toys), and curl up for naps in cozy spots. Once I get to know you, I’ll even seek out your lap for snuggles! And get this—I’m super tidy with my litter box and meals, and I even let my foster mom trim my nails like a true lady.

I may take a little extra time to warm up to new places and faces. But trust me, I’m worth the wait! I’d love a quiet home with a patient, experienced cat lover who will give me the space to settle in. I get along with friendly cats and would also be happy as your one-and-only furry best friend—especially if you work from home (I make an excellent assistant!).

Clementine is BACK as our bachelorette of the month. ❤️
This Valentine’s season, don’t just find love—ADOPT it! Meet Clementine, a 2.5-year-old black tabby sweetheart who’s still waiting for her forever Valentine. 😔Yes, she’s been Cat of the Month before, and we’re as puzzled as she is—because how could anyone resist all this charm?

Clementine’s heart is as big as her purrs. She adores belly rubs, ribbon toys, and laser chases. She’ll do full 360° rolls just to show how much she loves your attention. Once she trusts you, she’ll even cozy up on your lap and snuggle in bed, kneading her little paws like she’s baking heart-shaped cookies just for you.

She’s got the perfect mix of independence and affection—always nearby, but respectful of your space. And let’s not forget her signature trills—soft, sweet “I love you’s” in cat language, especially in the mornings.

Clementine may have been passed over before, but we know her perfect match is out there. Maybe it’s you?
