We have received so much interest in sweet Tinkerbell, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has reached out wanting to give her a forever home. 🩷🐾

Right now, we are carefully reviewing applications and will be reaching out to everyone as soon as we can.

Please know that every single person who applies to adopt one of our animals means more to us than you may realize. You are the reason we are able to save them. Every adopter opens their heart and home to an animal who may not have had a chance otherwise and when one of our babies is adopted, it also opens a space for another animal who desperately needs us.

With that being said, every animal in our rescue has different needs, personalities, and circumstances. Our responsibility is to find the home that we believe is the best fit for that individual animal and where they can have the happiest, safest, and most amazing life possible. ❤️

We also try our very best to be fair to those who reached out and applied first. Sometimes we have several wonderful families who would all provide incredible homes, and having to choose between them can be one of the hardest parts of rescue.

If you are not chosen for a particular animal, please never take it personally or feel that it means you wouldn’t make an amazing adopter. It may simply mean that another applicant was ahead of you or was a slightly better match for that animal’s specific needs. And just because you aren’t chosen for one of our babies absolutely does not mean you couldn’t be the perfect family for the next. 🏡💕

Thank you for being patient with us, for understanding how difficult these decisions can be, and most importantly, thank you for wanting to give a rescue animal the loving forever home they deserve. 🩷🐾

He is fully vetted, incredibly loving, and has SO much affection to give. 🥹🐾 He absolutely loves attention and wants to be right there soaking up all the love he can get!

If he feels like you’re not giving him quite enough attention, he may give you a few little “love bites” as his way of saying, “Hey… don’t forget about me!” 😂❤️

He truly is such a sweet boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He deserves an amazing family who will love him just as much as he’ll love them.

Have you been assigned community service hours and need a place to complete them? You can spend your time making a real difference by helping care for our rescue cats!

Community service may include cleaning cages and litter boxes, feeding and watering the cats, sweeping and mopping, washing bowls, organizing supplies, organizing, and giving the cats some much needed love and attention. Every hour you volunteer helps us keep the cats comfortable, healthy, and ready for their forever homes. ❤️

Please understand that community service must be scheduled in advance, and all participants are expected to be dependable, respectful, and willing to work. Age requirements and parental supervision may apply.

This is just from today alone… over $600 spent on food, litter, and essential supplies for the animals in our care. Three buggies filled with more than just necessities… they’re filled with love, comfort, safety, and the promise of a better life… one that many of these animals never knew existed before being rescued.

When you donate to our rescue or adopt from us, that money does not go into our pockets. In fact, we both work full time jobs while also running this rescue. We are not doing this to gain anything for ourselves. The greatest reward is meeting the amazing families who walk through the doors and watching them find the perfect animal to welcome into their homes. Those moments are worth more than money could ever buy.

When we clock out from our regular jobs, the work does not stop. We come home to animals who still need to be fed, litter boxes that need to be cleaned, medications that need to be given, messages that need to be answered, vet appointments that need to be scheduled, and bills that still have to be paid…

We work constantly to cover food, litter, vaccinations, medications, routine vet care, emergency vet bills, and so many other expenses… all while still having our own personal bills and responsibilities. These animals depend on us to provide them with a roof over their heads, warm beds, full bellies, medical care, and a safe place to stay while they wait for their forever families.

Rescue is not easy. It is exhausting, emotional, expensive, and extremely overwhelming at times. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it.

Today alone, we purchased over $600 worth of food, litter, and supplies. That is just one day. Throughout the week, we are constantly purchasing additional items and paying for whatever needs may arise. The bills do not stop simply because we are a rescue. We do not receive government funding, grants, or huge discounts. We rely heavily on donations, adoptions, volunteers, and the kindness of people who believe in what we do.

When you adopt an animal from us, the adoption fee helps cover only a small portion of the vet care we have already provided. That money then helps us care for the next animal waiting for us to save them. So when you adopt, you are not only changing the life of the animal you take home… you are also helping us rescue the next one….

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our posts, supported our mission, or opened their home to one of our animals… thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Every dollar helps. Every bag of food helps. Every container of litter helps. Every share helps. Every adoption helps us save another life.

There are days when the weight of it all feels like too much, but your support reminds us that we are not doing this alone. Because of you, animals who once had nowhere to go are now safe, loved, fed, cared for, and being given the second chance they deserve.

We appreciate each and every one of you more than words could ever express. ❤️🐾

🚨 We still Need Your Help‼️The cats still need your help‼️‼️

Every single day, our phone rings many times. Our inbox fills full with messages. Our email notifications never seem to stop. People are desperately asking us to take in cats and kittens that have been abandoned, injured, neglected, or have nowhere else to go….

Today, we have to say something we never want to say….

We have reached our absolute capacity both in space and in funding. Until some of our current expenses are relieved and we have the resources to continue, we simply cannot take in any more cats or kittens at this time. Please understand that this decision is heartbreaking for us. Every call we receive is an animal we wish we could help. Every message we have to decline weighs heavily on our hearts. But we cannot continue saying “yes” if it means we can no longer properly care for the animals already depending on us because our funds are low and our capacity if full.

Every day, we spend hundreds of dollars on food and litter alone for all of the cats in our care. Those costs never stop. On top of that are veterinary appointments, spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, emergency medical care, flea and parasite treatments, medications, and countless unexpected expenses that come with rescuing animals who have often been through the worst situations imaginable….

People sometimes ask why we don’t buy the cheapest food or litter available and the answer is simple….because these cats deserve better that everything they have been through. Many of the cats in our care came from lives filled with hunger, abuse, neglect, abandonment, or sickness. They have already suffered enough. We want them to have full bellies, clean litter boxes, comfort, and the chance to finally know what love feels like. They deserve quality care while they wait for the families they’ve always deserved.

But we cannot do this alone. If Little Bit Of Heaven Rescue has ever helped you, inspired you, or if you simply believe every animal deserves a second chance, we are asking for your help today. Whether it’s a bag of cat food, a bag of litter, a donation toward veterinary care, or simply sharing this post, every act of kindness makes a difference for the animals that we save.

Your support doesn’t just feed the cats already in our care…it gives us the ability to say “yes” to the next desperate call instead of having to turn another animal away because we do not have the funds or the space…

We know times right now are difficult for everyone, and we never like asking for help. But rescue truly takes a whole village, and without our community standing beside us, we cannot continue saving lives. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has donated, volunteered, adopted, fostered, shared our posts, or simply believed in our mission. You are the reason these animals get a second chance.
