Dorothy’s puppies turned ONE wk old last night!!!! They all seem to be doing great… there are two girls who are a little smaller, but I’ve been trying to help them nurse instead of getting pushed away by all the siblings🥹 Dorothy got to lick clean the bowl from making a cheesecake today… and then Dorothy was outside playing and I peeked in the puppy room to see that they had lined themselves all up all by themselves, which was pretty cute🤭 They are sleeping, eating, and doing their ENS training, and that’s about it right now!

Okay. This guy deserves a whole post just to himself. Is he not the most handsome guy you have ever seen?? And he’s just 7 months old!! Not even full grown yet and does have his ‘lion mane’ yet either!! I am so excited to see him as he grows🤭 His name is Buddy, he lives in Mineola with his family, and last pic is BABY BUDDY cuz he’s literally the cutest little man ever🙂‍↕️

**June’s Birth Story** 🩵💙🩵💙🩵
June 15, right before putting the dogs to bed, June was sitting in the back of her kennel, growling at any dog who got close! (Not like her at all!) She seemed anxious and needy and I decided either she was being a drama queen, OR she was in labor, so I carried her into her puppy room where she seemed immediately happy… of course I sat with her in there- but ended up cuddling with her and we both fell asleep🤭 Just before midnight, she started going insane and rearranging all of her blankets- so I knew she was about to go… contractions started and out came the biggest, healthiest baby boy! It was like she was born for this moment and she didn’t miss a beat. Over the next few early morning hours, she had 4 more big healthy boys. And that was it!!! I couldn’t believe it! No girls at all🤭 She is being the best mommy ever to her 5 chunky boys. So proud of her!

**Dorothy’s birth story🎉**
It was late afternoon on June 14th and I noticed Dorothy was sitting up and panting, while all the other dogs were napping. I knew she had to be close, so I brought her into her puppy room. There was a thunder storm outside, but we were safe and cozy in her little room! Sure enough, as the evening progressed, her labor also progressed, and out came the prettiest little girl! Dorothy acted like an old pro and knew just what to do. One by one, she had ELEVEN healthy puppies- 6 girls and 5 boys🤭 The first few days were a little rough, as she used the bathroom in her puppy room instead of going outside… but now she’s got it figured out and I’m very grateful😜 11 puppies is no easy feat, but Dorothy is being the best mommy, and definitely appreciates when I babysit so she can go run and play outside🤭

You KNOW you have a good hubby when he is outside working in the pouring rain trying to fix things to keep our doggies dry🥹 Also a kind hearted brother who helped 🤗 Levi has been staying with us in between jobs and he’s been a huge help for sure😌 I spent the afternoon trying to clean the mud out of the kennels (I hadn’t done a thorough power washing of the kennels all winter because each doggie had a comfy, warm, dry bed of hay to sleep in and I didn’t want to get it wet trying to clean!) But this spring the kennels started leaking and the hay got wet and it was really a mess. So I tackled that this afternoon and WHEW🥵👏🏼 I’ll post a video tomorrow so you can see my happy but muddy doggos😬😂
