Came home from Spring Fling with a little something extra. Meet Wonderfully Made Kowabunga our new Alpine Buckling. He is sweet and very very big. Yep this is Garrett's new breed adventure. Next we will be looking for some does for him.Thank you Ava Gelyon for trusting us with your sweet boy. We just love him so much.

Spring Fing Goat show started last night with Garrett placing Reserve Champion in senior showmanship

So Garrett did a thing. He entered the Clay County Tractor pulling contest. Mind you this young man has NEVER driven a Tractor before. He learned to drive in a 10 minute crash course just before the start of the contest. We'll Congratulations Garrett on winning Senior Grand Champion in Tractor pulling. I also want to Congratulations the 11 other Senior on a job well done!

It was a large senior divosion at the Clay County Fair Poultry showmanship competition. Garrett had a tie for Reserve Champion that took 2 rounds of intense questions to determine the Reserve Champion. Congratulations Garrett on your Reserve Champion win. Also a huge Congratulations to Sayde on her Intermediate Poultry showmanship Grand Champion win!

What a fantastic goat show this year at the Clay County Fair! I am so proud of our boys. Tristan won Reserve Champion in intermediate Showmanship with Half-Pint Dairies Leola this was her last show as she goes into retirement. Garrett won Grand Champion in senior Showmanship with Stoltman Daphne on tap too.

Clay county fitting and grooming competition for goats was a fantastic experience. Yulee FFA did a great job. Annabelle won Grand Champion and Garrett placed 3rd. Lita walked out of the competition looking great with her new haircut!

It's been a busy week showing at the Clay County Fair! Garrett and Tristan did well in the dair cow show. They earned blue ribbons for their Jersey calves and placed Grand and Reserve in their class.

March Mini Madness 2024 was a fantastic show as always. Garrett showed The Rivera Ranch Taco in the buck show this was the second time showing him. His first show in 2021 he was just a kid and this year Garrett and Taco won the Reserve Champion Buck. Thank you to Sami Downs Ray for putting the show together, Jennifer Casler for the beautiful shirts and awards, and Kimberly Johnson for all the hard work ring side and being a huge supporter for Garrett.

Another project complete. May God bless the youngsters learning how to win, how to lose, how to set goals, how to be respectful, how to handle adversity, how to overcome obstacles, how to care for another living being, and how to grow through being present in today’s world. The Christmas in July event will be held from 4-9 pm this Friday at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds on US1 in Callahan Fl. Come get your photo taken with Santa and his farm friends. We will have two photo sets available to choose from. One is a traditional Christmas background and the other is Santa hanging out with you on the beach background. Suggested donations are posted. See ya'll there!

Zooming In Photography will be holding a raffle to win this beautiful bench that was hand crafted by one of our talented youth members. Please stop by our booth at the Christmas in July event this Friday between 4-8 pm to purchase your tickets. the drawling will be held at 8:30 pm. You do not have to be there to win. We will call the winner and make arrangements for you to pick up your beautiful bench.

Sale prices are listed and a percent of the proceeds will go to help support our local 4-H Zooming In Photography Club. All Half-Pint Dairies products are produced on the farm and crafted by Garrett Bennett. So come on out to the Christmas in July event this Friday at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds on US1 in Callahan and treat yourself to a bit of luxury in a bottle. We will have goats, rabbits, and Steve the goose will be there. So come on out get your picture taken we will print on site and give to you. Can't wait to see you there

What a great time at 4-H District Events! Garrett gave his speech on Sebastopol Geese: Past, Present, and Future. He even earned a red ribbon. We are so proud of the work he has put in to his animal projects. I can't wait to see what he does next.
