Another trimming appointment done from last weekend. This was one of our regulars and fairly good sized herd, 12 very nice dairy goats. We are happy to provide these guys their normal hoof maintenance to keep them happy and healthy! ✂️🐐☀️

✨ New Year Update from The Goat Pedicure ✨

As we start this new year, I want to say thank you to all the farms and livestock owners who trusted me with their animals this past season. I truly appreciate every client who supports my small business. And I thank all of you who have spread the word as well!

The Goat Pedicure will continue offering:
• Goat Hoof trimming
• Sheep Hoof trimming
• Fiber Goat Shearing
• Farm sitting & livestock care
As well as additional services available, along with guidance for those new to livestock or anyone looking for a second opinion from someone who raises and works with livestock firsthand.

To make scheduling easier this year, I’ve set up a new online booking system for appointments. This will help keep routes organized and make it much easier for clients to schedule visits.

Talk about some gnarly hooves! 😮

We got two of our homebred Angora does back recently and they are way over due for a hoof trimming. This will be a satisfying job seeing how well they shape back up!

Angora goats have a tendency to get really badly overgrown hooves, odd shaped and fast growing. More so the American Angoras rather than the Navajo Angoras in my experience, so they need to be kept on top of more often.
