If dogs can love us in the worst of times…

The least we can do is not leave them behind. 🐾

That line hits hard because rescue sees the truth every day.

Dogs love through confusion.
Through change.
Through fear.
Through the moments when the humans around them do not know what comes next.

And still, they look for us. ❤️

They wait by doors.
They trust the sound of familiar footsteps.
They forgive faster than we deserve.
They keep believing someone will come back.

That is why rescue matters.

Not because every story is easy.
Not because every day is pretty.
But because every animal deserves someone willing to stay, protect, feed, comfort, and fight for them when life gets hard.

If you cannot adopt, foster.
If you cannot foster, share.
If you cannot share, speak kindly about rescue.
If you cannot do much, do one small thing.

Small things save lives too. 🐶🙏

May every dog waiting tonight be met with safety, patience, and a heart that refuses to leave them behind.
