🐾🏌️‍♂️ Golf Cart Safety for Dogs! 🏌️‍♀️🐾

Taking your dog on golf cart rides? Make sure they’re safe and comfortable:

✅ Use a harness and leash – secure them so they can’t jump or fall off
✅ Teach a settle cue – reward calm sitting or lying down before you drive
✅ Start slow – let them get used to the cart turned off before moving
✅ Watch the weather – carts heat up fast in the sun; paws can burn too
✅ Drive cautiously – sudden stops or turns can unbalance your pup
✅ Never leave them unattended on a cart

Golf cart rides can be fun enrichment if your dog feels secure and relaxed. Safety first for happy adventures! 🐶💨

Does your dog think the kitchen counter is their personal buffet? 🥐🐾

Teaching impulse control is key! Start by rewarding them for keeping four paws on the floor while you prepare food. Set them up for success by managing the environment, practicing “leave it,” and heavily rewarding calm choices.

Remember – stealing food isn’t naughty. It’s normal dog behavior if they haven’t been taught otherwise (and it always pays off for them if they snag a snack!).

💡 Tip: Reinforce good choices before they jump up, and avoid leaving food unattended until training is solid.
