This is SUCH a bad idea! Dogs only eat what we give them! If they are overweight, change the dog food to lower fat, and feed them less. Not to mention, many dogs with increased thirst, appetite, panting, pot-bellies, hair loss, or recurring infections may actually have a typical Cushing’s disease, a hidden adrenal imbalance that’s more common (and often missed) than most realize. The tests say “normal,” but something still isn’t right.
