Update 6/25 6pm: not much change, some VTAC issues that have required meds. Still cautiously optimistic.
Update 6/25 9:30am: We have raised enough funds to meet our current quote. Thank you for all your support! We truly can’t do this without you.
Update 6/25 5am: He is still fighting, his blood work is not good but very slowly showing some improvement. Clotting factors have gotten worse so platelets are being given. Cautiously optimistic at this time.
Ripper was found this evening (6/24), thankfully by two of our volunteers, having a heat stroke and barely alive laying on the side of the road. He was rushed to the closest ER vet, Indy Vet, and we are fighting to save his life.
His owner has decided she no longer wants him and we have taken all financial responsibility to try to save him. Not our concern at this time.
We are trying to get him stabilized and the next 48 hours will determine if he is going to make it or not. His temperature was over 108 degrees when we got him, so high it didnt even register anymore.
That is where you come in!! We just paid a $4000 deposit and have an estimate of anywhere from $4000-$5500.
We can’t do this without you. Please, no donation is too big or small. We will fight for him as long as he continues to fight!!!
