A few months ago, one of our customers had their burm stolen from their house and was never found. They were devastated and didn't want another snake after that. I'm happy to say with the help of a couple people, a good samaritan found their burm loose in a city park. Cool fact about snake scales, their scale patterns are different from other snakes, just like fingerprints on people. The owner took lots of pictures of the burm prior to the theft and it was easy to identify. The burm is in great shape, and the owner has been informed! Owner is beyond happy to hear the news!

Hey everyone! Here is our new rodent pricing for those who pick up rodents from us. Unfortunately, prices on feed, bedding, and other rodent care resources have gone up the last few months, so our prices have been affected a little bit. Hope everyone is having a great day otherwise!

Today's Reptile husbandry lesson is about heating pads and thermostats. We recently just got a used enclosure to turn into a new enclosure for one of our monitors. The previous owner didn't have a thermostat on the heat pad and got too hot and caused some burning of the bottom of the enclosure. Always, always have thermostats on any type of heating element for your animals. These heating elements can get so hot that it can cause burns on your animal and even start fires! If you ever have questions about how to correctly use thermostats, please feel free to reach out, and we can give you a hand!
