Some of you have had the pleasure of meeting my partner, Josh, at the shop. He is also quite the canine enthusiast! This year he is trying to take that enthusiasm one step further. He is thrilled to be participating in the Caroline County Humane Society Sumber Pawty Event where he is helping to raise money for the dogs and cats temporarily residing at the shelter.

Next Saturday he'll be joining a wonderful group of humans and bunking up with a shelter pup and getting a glimpse inside their world overnight.

Please consider sharing this post and possibly throwing a couple dollars his way to help provide funds that will go towards food, vet care, enrichment, etc. 🐕🩵

All dogs go to heaven, but here on Earth, its up to us to give them the life they deserve!

With the cold weather and dogs being more hesitant to go potty outside there has been an uptick in the number of accidents in the main lobby. That being said, a lot of accidents have been left unattended. Please remember that this is a shared space, and a lot of the foot traffic coming and going are to the offices upstairs.

Please be considerate of the other pets and people that must enter through the main doors, and clean up any messes your pet may make. If you are physically unable to clean the accident ---- please be sure to alert me that it is there and I will gladly get it taken care of. I do not know about it if it no one tells me.

Repeated messes left uncleaned can jeopardize my lease.

Thank you to all of my clients who so thoughtfully and absolutely SPOILED me with cards and gifts. My family and I are all so incredibly thankful for you all. I've had SO MANY people reach out and check on our little boy so I wanted to give everyone a bit of an update.

About 2-3 weeks ago he started to have swelling come and go around his right eye, that has gotten more and more persistant over the last week. We were going in all different directions but the doctors were all pretty stumped and began to worry about a possible mass/tumor.

Well, we had a MRI today and the universe knew my anxious heart couldn't handle a whole weekend of waiting for answers and the DR called with a hopeful diagnosis and a game plan!

They are super confident there is NO MASS/TUMOR.

They are fairly confident he has something called "Orbital Inflammation Disease". We're not out of the woods yet as we are meeting with some other specialists over the next few weeks to better find the cause, however, we have a treatment plan to start and we can all breathe for the first time in weeks.

Thank you all again so, so sincerely for your wishful thoughts, flexibility, and support.

And thank you for your continued patience as I play catch up with A LOT of appts and we navigate further doctors appointments and information.

As I navigate some medical hurdles with my young son, I want to thank everyone for patience and understanding, in advance.

The next few weeks may bring some more rescheduling, some waiting, and some longer response times than normal. I apologize in advance but I gently ask everyone to please remember that everything is operated by just me.

Right now Josh, Dimitri, and I are juggling a lot, and as much as I love you all and your pups, my little guy is my number one priority.

A big thank you to all of the clients who have been so overwhelming kind to me the past week moving things around last minute, and getting emotional with them at drop offs and pick ups. I appreciate you more than you know.

If any changes need to be made to your appointment, I will do my best to give as much notice as possible and try to get you back in, in a timely manner. Thank you. 🩵
