FOSTER IS NOT HOME

LONG ISLAND, NY: Sweet SANDY, estimated to be seven years old, has been without a family since she arrived at the in 2019. She waited more than three years there.

In January 2023 she went into foster care with . SANDY is a very happy dog who loves meeting people. She enjoys being outside and loves swimming and lapping up attention as much as she loves vacuuming up any food crumbs that hit the floor!!If she thinks a snack is coming, she’ll sit and wait patiently for you.

SANDY weighs 60 lbs. and would do best in a home without young children (around 12/13 and up is ok!) SANDY cannot live with cats but could integrate with a friendly male
dog.
