Quick update...

Right now, we’re booking out 2–4+ weeks — 🐾 Due to an increase in new clients over the past few months (thank you!), availability is tighter than usual —especially in November and December!

That’s why we’re encouraging everyone to get in the habit of pre-booking your next appointment (or even your next 2–3) before you leave the salon. Your future self — and your pup — will thank you!

-Holiday season is around the corner, and our appointment book is filling up faster than Santa’s sleigh.

-Saturday spots? Gone quicker than a dog chasing a squirrel.

-Avoid the “oh no, my dog’s too fluffy to see” emergencies.

🎨 Feeling festive? Don’t forget — we offer creative color for a little extra holiday cheer. Just be sure to mention it when booking, as these services take extra time.

💸 Heads-Up: Our annual price adjustment goes into effect September 1st. This small increase helps us keep giving your pets the high-quality, one-on-one care they deserve all year long.

BE ALERT!
If you must move a vaccine packet:
Wear gloves or use a plastic bag or paper towel to pick it up.
Place any damaged baits in the trash.
Throw intact baits into a wooded area or other raccoon/wildlife habitat.
Residents should WASH HANDS IMMEDIATELY if they come into direct contact with the vaccine or packets, then call the NYSDOH Rabies Information Line at (888) 574-6656.

Additional recommendations include:
Supervise children’s outdoor activities during bait distribution and for one week afterward.
Confine dogs and cats indoors and observe leash laws during the bait distribution interval and for one week afterward. This will increase the probability of raccoon vaccination and decrease the chance of pets finding the baits.
Baits and vaccines are not harmful to domestic animals. However, an animal may vomit if it consumes several baits. You should not risk being bitten while trying to remove bait from your pet’s mouth.

You might recognize Bear as the sweet boy who barks hello when you walk up to the studio! He’s our neighbor, part-time greeter, and full-time cutie. 🐻❤️

Do you remember sweet little Lucie — the pup rescued from the Lakeview explosion? 💔💥
She’s healed up beautifully and came in for her first (of many!) complimentary spa days with us. 🛁✨

Lucie had lots of packed-in undercoat and some singed hair, so we gave her a deep conditioning treatment to help loosen the dead coat and hydrate the rest. She was such a gentle, sweet girl and really seemed to enjoy her bath. 💕

We had hoped to get more photos and videos, but Lucie is still a little camera-shy. We’ll be sure to share more once she settles in a bit more.

Can’t wait to pamper her again soon! ❤️🐾

Taking a little paws 🐾 for some much-needed sunshine and relaxation! 🌴✨ We’ll be out of the salon until Tuesday, 7/29. We’ll catch up on all messages once we’re recharged and back to making pups look their best! 🐶💛
