Juneau & Blue Dog had a freeing spa day! Their winter coats were adjusted for Spring! 🌼 Both of these pups have incredible patience with me on the table, they definitely get an A+ for exemplary behavior! Blue enjoys a soothing medicated bath with massage, while Juneau boosts her esteem with some volume! It is always such a paw-leasure to see these two on their regularly scheduled grooming sessions! 😍🐶🛁💆‍♀️ Until next time, my furry friends! ❤️

Happy Birthday to Blitz! He is 12 years young as of Thursday! I am so lucky to have met this big fluffball just a few years ago! He has so much personality, energy, and s***k - he doesn’t act a day over two! I can’t wait for this next year making more memories with him! 🎉 🎂 🎁 🎈 🥳

Put your paws up if you think Maple is as cute as her portfolio says she is! 🐾🥰 Maple has been my furry friend for 3 years, and although we started off with just weekly adventure walks, I have had the paw-leasure of taking care of her grooming needs as well! She enjoys a nice deshed treatment to help get all her undercoat out, blueberry face wash, and all around tidy up! She loves showing off her tricks and smiles afterwards for the camera! 📸 Sometimes I think she just does it for the treats, though… 🤭❤️

Just a pack of poodles running around the woods for a few hours today! 🐩❤️ They will definitely need a good brush out after their hike today! Did you know that poodles have hair, and not fur? They require daily maintenance in order to prevent matting, and to upkeep their fancy hairstyles! 💇‍♀️🎀

Watson’s before, during, and after! 🐾 Every winter we grow out his coat and he gets well known around town as being a BIG BEAR! 🐻 His Mom brushes & combs his coat nose to tail daily, and I come out every 8 weeks for touch ups in order for us to accomplish this! But it gets to a point around this time where we need just a LITTLE trim. 🤭 💇‍♂️🛁 as you can see from his post bath blow out picture, he was VERY fluffy! He is all ready to strut his stuff into town and daycare this week to show off his new look. 🤗❤️

Happy National Golden Retriever Day!

As one of the most popular breeds in the world, Goldens originated in Scottland in the 1800s. They have an abundance of energy, but are highly trainable due to their intelligence level. These dogs need a job as they can get bored easily. Goldens thrive with daily enrichment, and activities such as hunting, swimming, rescue, therapy, and service work. Goldens are social butterflies, therefore are quick to make friends. I know I have made friends with many dogs of this breed in my lifetime. They are very affectionate and will easily become your best friend. ❤️🐶

What a treat it was to meet this litter of 9 Australian Shepherd puppies and trim their nails. 💅 It is very important to introduce a puppy to the grooming process at a young age with frequently scheduled visits to get them acclimated with the tools, and practicing good table manners. You can help at home with frequent brushing, paw handling, checking ears, as well as teeth cleaning to ensure success for your pups grooming sessions. Don’t forget to reward their good behavior! Never be afraid to ask your groomer for best practices, what equipment to use, and recommended scheduling timeframes.
