❓ What is the difference between a trainer and a behaviorist? ❓

While both require being able to understand dog speak, a behaviorist will address serious issues like aggression, anxiety, and resource guarding vs trainers that generally teach obedience and other important skills. Here are just SOME of the dogs we've had the pleasure to work with since spring! ❤ We know that we've neglected page updates, but as you can tell, we've been busy training and solving behavior issues. Our waiting list reached eight weeks in April, so we put all our efforts into working with these furbabies and their families.

Many of the dogs we've worked with have had significant behavioral issues from past history or simply the pandemic where dogs haven't been able to be socialized. We were able to translate what they were saying and address the issue(s) and keep some of them from being surrendered. There is nothing more heartwarming than seeing a pawrent and their dog bond and understand each other. 🥰

We thank everyone for your support in sharing our posts and referring people our way! We especially thank everyone that has entrusted us with their furbabbies!!! Thanks again and take care!

As we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas, we wanted to share this so people can keep their furbabbies safe. Please be aware of the food they get ahold of, especially the little humans too young to understand. Please keep your dogs safe and have a wonderful holiday!

This is critical information to know when inviting a new dog into your home! Don't give up on them, they will adjust and at times need training and/or behavior modification. We've been booked solid for months working with pets adopted during the pandemic that needing training or had behavioral issues to address. Some are graduating soon, so we taking on new clients. This article explains how dog trainers across the US are getting crushed with extreme cases, thanks to owners who saw pandemic pups as a loneliness fix but didn’t start with good training. Due to the pandemic, many dogs are not socialized properly and can cause aggression from fear or anxiety.

This is Maggie who had her second session today. ❤ She has significant anxiety that we are working on and has made great strides since our first session! Not only am I the only person she'll allow within a few feet, got her to do some commands like sit & down. Her brother Thor decided to join the party and showed her how it was done. 😂 Can't wait to work with her again next week!

Had one of the most amazing sessions today with Lilly and Sasha! Not long ago, Sasha would maybe spend 10 of 60 minutes of the session hiding or watching from a distance. Today we made a major breakthrough and she spent most of the session next to me! She recalled and sat many times and was a completely different dog. We've watched this beautiful dog go from hiding and refusing to even look at us, to being social and wanting to train! ❤

Meet Bear, a 1 year old rescued GSD! ❤ His family needed some help with this ball of love and reached out. We had our first session today and he did fabulous! Initially he was very fearful of his kennel, so we climbed in and he joined us. As you can tell from the pictures, he no longer has any fear, after a single session. We also worked on basic obedience and some leash training, all of which he aced with his high drive to please. As you can see, we wore him out - he was dead asleep before we left. Can't wait to work with him again next week! 😍

Jax came to us from Missouri, and right away found his perfect furever family in Ron and his daughter Bella! The very first night Jax was with Ron, he helped when Ron had a fall, immediately cementing his place in all our hearts!

Jax is an amazing dog and has found an amazing family to take him in! ❤
