AQHA/FQHA Nita Dr Pepper

She will be bred next spring to AQHA Stone Cold by SG Frozen Enterprise out of a Gunners Special Nite mare. I cannot wait for her first foal! It will be something special! 💗

Jay’s owner sent me the photo of him yesterday. He’s doing well with her. We miss him so incredibly much, but are so thankful that we get updates on him and that he’s loved and doing well in his new home. ❤️

I also got an update on Shmit formerly Willie, a c**t by Jay that we raised. He is doing well with his new owner and is back in training after a short break due to his owner and him both having to take a short break. They are both happy to be back working again. She loves him and also sends me photos of him often! ❤️

Our one and only filly for Twisted P Quarter horses, Jays Lil Diamond, aka Fancy. She is doing excellent with Evelyn! Evelyn’s grandpa says she has big plans for Fancy and I believe him!
Most little girls can’t work horses and it’s not a good idea to sell them to kids, but I knew when I saw Evelyn with Fancy, they were perfect for each other! I can’t wait to see how far they go together! 💖

Dear Small Breeder…. I see you!

I see you pouring your heart and soul into those mares praying for a good heartbeat check.

I see you, missing family gatherings because a mare needs bred. Or one is about to foal.

I see you, sleepless nights hoping nothing goes wrong at foaling time.

I see you, crying because you lost a foal, mare or both.

I see you standing over that prize yearling, that just broke its leg.

I see you, struggling wondering which incentives to pay into. Because everyone wants them all paid into every incentive possible.

I see you, as you are saying goodbye to the old mare that started it all… wondering if you should keep going.

I see you, struggling on which mare to breed to which stallion to hopefully make someone’s super star!

I see you, smiling because it all went right this time!

I see you, smiling because someone called to tell you how much they love that foal you raised. And it is their heart horse!

Keeping going small breeder! Because without you, there are a lot of people missing out on that once in a life time horse.

After my last post I needed good news and I got it!!

I received an update today on Ima Voodoo Dr aka Scrump. We called him Dood. He is doing great in his new home and is loved so much. I’m so happy that I got to talk to his new owner. He will hopefully get to cover a mare or two this year and live his life to the fullest! I can’t wait to see what happens with him next! I know Miranda will love him no matter what. ❤️

I always love getting updates on the ones I raised, but I unfortunately got sad news about Ralphie tonight. Some may remember this golden boy. He was purchased by Twisted P Quarter Horses as a foal and I weaned him from his dam. I raised him and we kept him for three years. We sent him out into the world and he was shown in halter classes and loved by his owner, she called him Hollywood.

Last Friday night he got down and unfortunately his gut twisted due to colic. There was nothing that could be done to save him. We at Twisted P Quarter Horses mourn with his owner. Rest in peace sweet boy. I hope you’re running in green pastures tonight. ❤️
