Our Spring 2024 Litter is already 2 weeks old! They have been champs with our ENS and ESI curriculum we started with them at 3 days old. They are all proving to have awesome temperaments and it's been an honor to work with these babies!

We have a few spots left for reservations for our pick orders. Pick day will be 4 weeks from now, when they are 6 weeks old, after we do our temperament evaluations. Go home day will start on May 31st. If you'd like to place an application to be considered for one of our puppies, message us for the application link.

We use a carefully vetted curriculum to administer Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises to give all of our puppies an incredible foundation. This gives them the opportunity to be the best companions, therapy, service, hunting, and/or AKC titling Labrador Retrievers they can become, as it jumps starts their neurological connections from the third day of life. We also pride ourselves in the fact that we do temperament evaluations, to give all of our puppies a voice in their placement in their forever homes.
Both parents live with us, on our acreage in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Puppies are house raised, with plenty of safe outdoor, human, and fellow canine interactions.

Parents are genetically cleared and OFA/Penn Hip cleared. Luna May and Sir Gryffin Blue are incredibly smart and happy tempered parents. Some of our other puppies from their previous litters are already training to become therapy dogs, hunting dogs and search and rescue helpers.

The Heavenly Seven! Luna May had 7 beautiful, healthy puppies yesterday! Of course, she and Gryffin produced a beautiful rainbow of colors again 🌈

They're all doing awesome! She's such a good Momma that ADORES her babies 😍

It's official! Easter puppies from this beautiful duo, due to arrive March 29th (Easter weekend!)

They will be ready for their new homes at the end of May/beginning of June 2024.

Happy 1st birthday to our Christmas litter! Exactly one year ago today, we were supporting our Momma Luna as she graciously labored and delivered 10 beautiful, healthy pups! They have been healing hearts from day one! Happy birthday to our 10 miracles! Merry Christmas to all our Sagey Acres families! We love you!

This sleepy, squishy Momma Luna face is giving me life today! We're excited to be cuddling more of her babies in the spring, if all goes according to plan. 😍🐶😘 We still have some room on the spring 2024 waitlist!

We've been enjoying the nicer weather this week, with our current litter of Labrador Retriever Puppies, who were born on Christmas! They're 6 weeks old already! We have some that have already been picked and reserved, but some people wanted to wait until after temperament evaluations to make their pick. These sweeties are the ones who currently aren't spoken for yet. You'll find their litter-names, genders, colors and what kind of family they are looking for in the description of each photo.

We've done their Early Scent Introduction, Early Neurological Stimulation, body work and loud sound exposure up until now, and will continue to do so, until their "go-home" day on Feb. 22nd, 2023. It has been extremely rewarding to see how all of those special exercises, along with their individual temperaments, have helped give some of them the potential to become therapy, service or ESA dogs, if training is continued (you can see in the description for each picture).

Happy almost 4 weeks to our Christmas Litter! Eyes are open and personalities are starting to shine! Just a little over 2 weeks until pick day (different than Pick-Up day). We have a few spots left out of this litter for pick order. They have all graduated from their ENS and ESI exercises. We have now been introducing a new loud noise every day, along with new body exercises. They are starting to cut teeth and will be starting on 'puppy mush' this week and will soon be ready for the puppy play area, with obstacles and more introductions. It's been so fun to work with this litter! They're a bunch of little smarty pants!

A true CHRISTMAS MIRACLE happened here at Sagey Acres Farmette and Labs. Luna May waited until Christmas Day to have her babies! She whelped TEN healthy Labrador Retriever Puppies - they are precious in every way! (see next post for their individual litter names, genders, and colors).

Mabel's first concert! She did AMAZING! She zenned like a boss, and the loud music didn't even phase her. The Early Neurological Stimulation we did in her first few weeks of life has made all the difference with loud noises. It's been clear to see the benfits from it. She didn't move a muscle as people stepped over her to get to their seats, and she even "left it" like a pro, when a little girl tried to share a snack with her at one point too. It brought tears to my eyes for a second, because we have both worked so hard together. The lives she will brighten came into full view in that moment. The power of a dog is real, and we feel so honored to be on this journey with her 😍

One of our young Ameraucanas gave us our first light teal egg this morning and I'm 💯 % giddy about it! I mean take a look at that lavendar and teal together, amongst the deep jeweled colors from our Black Australorps ! 😍💃 Nature is absolutely breath-taking!

This 8.5 week old handsome boy is still available from our current litter of AKC Purebred Labrador Retrievers. All his brothers and sisters are going home this week. Who wants to add this little nugget to their family?!
He has incredible potential for therapy, emotional support, or championships. Not only has he and his littermates recieved ESI and ENS (see below), but they've recieved social and manners introductions as well.

Parents are genetically cleared through Embark and OFA / Penn Hip cleared. Very calm and happy tempered, with our sire currently in training to become therapy certified himself.
He is 8.5 weeks old and is available for his new home now!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest additions to Sagey Acres - 6 silver, 2 charcoal, 2 black and 2 chocolates. We couldn't be more proud of our sweet Luna May. She is such an incredible Momma, who is loving every inch of her new babies!

Luna May III and Sir Gryffin Blue are expecting their first litter in less than two weeks! We've had confirmation from our vet that Luna is carrying at least 6 pups, probably more.
