Over the past several decades, the Knabstrupper has steadily gained recognition in North America, bringing its unmistakable color and talent to the sport horse world. One standout ambassador for the breed is Pyxis av Drömmarna, a 12-year-old stallion who has earned a reputation for passing on his calm disposition, athletic ability, and distinctive spotted coat to his offspring.

Owned by Kimberly Ramirez of Shakespeare Farm , Pyxis embodies everything that makes the Knabstrupper so special: intelligence, rideability, and a gentle, people-oriented personality. His accomplishments extend well beyond the breeding shed. Pyxis is the only Knabstrupper stallion approved for life by the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association, Knabstrupperforeningen (KNN), and the Westfalen Knabstrupper Studbook simultaneously. He has also achieved top placings in both dressage and eventing, showcasing the breed’s remarkable versatility and competitive spirit.

Kimberly is dedicated to increasing awareness of the Knabstrupper throughout the United States while expanding her breeding program to produce exceptional sport horses. Adding Pyxis to her program has been a dream realized. His combination of athleticism, trainability, willing attitude, and unmistakable presence makes him an outstanding representative of the breed and an exciting sire for future generations.

Pyxis av Drömmarna is also featured in model form as a limited edition Breyerfest horse this year. His portrait model beautifully captures his stunning chestnut leopard coat on the loose-mane Warmblood Stallion mold sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton. Alberto Conde
