Unplanned but was absolutely necessary. We were contacted about twelve, yes TWELVE mixed breed pups that had not been fed for a while. The owners had run out of formula. The puppies' mom had passed from probable drug overdose days ago and the babies were to be given away. They're a bit underweight and we're dehydrated but they are now warm, fed, and have been dewormed.
This is where we need help.
We need bottle feeders and donations!
We had a canister of puppy milk left and with this first big feeding they've cleared out about half of it already.
We will have to purchase some tomorrow.

I think we've rescued the most expressive babies lately. This is Toothless. With his bright green eyes and ears too big for his head, he can really show us his goofy side.
He was just found and brought to us yesterday. His sister, Stormfly, was found last night and brought to us today. She is being treated for URI
Most of our intake this year have been black kittens and cats, which are notoriously the most overlooked type of cat.
Help us continue to rescue, donate or adopt a kitten!
We have several black kittens still available that are already vetted/fixed.

Pepe is looking for a very special home. He is an estimated 3yr old pomeranian that was saved from Rouge Park. If you know the history of the park, he was lucky to make it out and into rescuers hands. Now he can be super sweet but he seems to be a one person dog. He bonds with a person and gets resource guarding/bitey with other people.
He is scared of being brushed, we don't know why or what happened to him before but we have been working slowly to get him used to it. He had matting but he does well with the blow dryer so those have come out.
He loves his belly rubbed and butt scratched.
He would be a good companion for a single person, he just wants a human to love. He does well with cats and dogs.

Stormi the pup is searching for the perfect person she's in a temporary foster currently. She needs a more permanent situation soon so she can continue to show off her full potential. Breed experience is a bonus. 🩵🐾💜

Stormi is still looking for her home 🏡 🩵💜
She is a 7~month old German shepherd mix and very sweet. She has a very active mind and lots of puppy energy.
We would not recommend her to a home with poultry, she wants to chase. This drive could be used in activities like FastCat or agility. She would likely be a great hiking partner! We are looking for the perfect place for her to call home.

Sadly Foxy is not settling in fast enough for his adopter so he needs a foster or adopter that will give him time to settle. He does bark at unknown things or people. As he is a small guy. He has had some accidents and will need someone that will take him out regularly to get him properly trained.
Remember we don't know his history except that he was dumped on a snowmobile trail in the woods during winter months.
He will need time, patience and consistency...if you are willing to take the time to learn this little guy please apply at the link below.

💜🩵🐾💜🩵EDIT It was suggested we share a bit more information. We would absolutely be open to doing several meet and greets to help Foxy find the best fit. He does pick and choose his friends from small to large dogs. He does love cats and snuggled one in his first potential home.

Through no fault of his own this pom/sheltie mix is needing a new home. He is super sweet and loves people. He does well with cats and dogs.
He was found on a snowmobile trail during the winter and was nursed back to health. We would love to see him go to a forever home!

He comes fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative.
