A good Samaritan brought this sweet guinea pig to our office after finding them near Independence Ave. We're currently keeping them safe and comfortable while we try to locate their family!

If you believe this little one may be yours, please reach out to us as soon as possible. Our office number is (910) 399-3768. Proof of ownership is required (photos, specific details, etc.) to ensure they’re returned to the right home.

It’s never easy to say goodbye—but we’re bursting with pride as we send off Fatima, Noelle, and MaKenna on their next big adventures!

✨ Fatima is heading off to pursue her Bachelor’s in Biology—the next step in her journey toward vet school.
✨ Noelle and MaKenna are both starting veterinary school at NC State University this fall! 🐺🎓

These three have been so much more than just coworkers—they’ve been friends, teammates, and the kind of people who make our hospital feel like family. Their passion for animals, unwavering kindness, and genuine hearts touched everyone they worked with—both two-legged and four.

We are so proud of them. Their futures are incredibly bright, and while our hearts are heavy to see them go, we know they’re going to make this world a better place for animals and the people who love them.

🎉 Celebration Time! 🎉
On June 13th, we had the absolute joy of celebrating a huge milestone—Chevelle officially graduated from chemotherapy! 🐾💪

This brave warrior has shown incredible strength, resilience, and a tail-wagging spirit through every treatment. Her journey has inspired our entire team, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come. 💛

We’re honored to have walked this road with her and her amazing family—and we’re all pawsitive that the future is looking bright! ✨

Please be on the lookout if you live or work in Porters Neck and surrounding areas.

We’ve been notified about a loose Blue-and-Gold Macaw flying around the Porters Neck area. Please help us spread the word in hopes that we can reach the macaw’s owner!

The best person to coax an escaped bird down is the owner themselves and our hotline can advise on the best way to do that. Parrots normally don't just come down from trees for strangers (including our volunteers), but the trusted owner can come close enough.

If you are the owner seeing this post, please call our hotline at 1-855-40-RESCU (73728) and feel free to post your contact information below so anyone who sees it can reach you directly. Parrots do not travel far right away, this bird should still be in the area.
