Tug Time = Enrichment Time

We’re trying to add a little extra joy (and much-needed mental stimulation) to our 3 outdoor yards at the rescue facility, and we need your help!

We’d love to install these tug rope toys in each yard so our facility dogs have something fun and engaging to do when outside, especially on days when our amazing volunteers are stretched thin and can’t play one-on-one.

These simple rope toys might not seem like much, but they make a big difference. They give our dogs a healthy outlet for energy, reduce boredom, and provide enrichment when they need it most.

They also enjoy their Chuck-it balls and other toys if you’d rather purchase something other than the tug toy.

If you’d like to help us bring a little tug-happiness to their day, click the link below to order directly from our Amazon wishlist!

Thank you from the bottom of our paws, for helping make enrichment time the best part of their day! ❤️🙌

🚨CAUGHT IN THE ACT🚨

This is Tank. Tank was supposed to be working on his résumé and brushing up on his obedience skills… but instead? He’s out here launching a full-scale hot dog interception like he’s in the NFL.

Meanwhile, our volunteers (who were also supposed to be working) are cheering him on like it’s the Puppy Bowl halftime show. 🙃

Professionalism? Never heard of her.
Productivity? Tank ate that.
The hot dog? Still TBD.

Welcome to rescue life, where the dogs are unhinged, the volunteers are enablers, and someone’s always yelling “WHO FED HIM THAT?!”

Someone please come get these dogs AND these volunteers. Or at least bring more hot dogs. We’ve lost control of the facility.

🐾 More dogs seen
💛 More support for medical needs
🏠 More foster homes
🙌 More lives saved
🧡 More volunteers to help us care for the dogs in our facility

We have a goal of reaching 10,000 followers, and with your help, we know we can get there. That growth could change everything for the dogs who are counting on us.

You’ve seen what we do. You’ve cried with us, laughed with us, and helped us through the chaos. Now help us be seen by the people who don’t know us yet, the people who might say yes to the dog we’ve been trying to place for a year.

Please share our page today. Your voice could be the one that helps a dog find their home, or helps us save the next one who needs a miracle.

Meet Chong, 14 weeks old and already a professional wrestler, part-time explorer, and full-time good boy.

He’s got manners your mother would approve of:
✅ Eats like a polite gentleman
✅ Litter box? Nailed it.
✅ Vaccinated and ready to mingle

He’s been shacking up with a younger kitten (may be his cousin), and together they’ve formed a tag team of zoomies and chaos, with zero property damage. Chong respectfully ignores your drapes, couches, and sense of order. Cat scratchers only, thank you very much.

Loves: cat trees, exploring, and long walks to the food bowl.
Dislikes: being boring.

Adopt Chong, your furniture will thank you.

Meet Cheech, 10 weeks of pure chaos wrapped in adorable fuzz.
Don’t let the baby face fool you, this tiny troublemaker fears nothing. He’s younger than the other foster kitten but insists he’s the boss of everything, including your shoelaces, your dinner, and the laws of physics.

✅ Eats like a champ
✅ Litter box legend
✅ Vaccinated and ready to party

Cheech is endlessly curious, extremely nosy, and currently in a deeply committed relationship with the refrigerator. He will try to climb in, so maybe double-check the door before you turn it into a kitten freezer.

Adopt him before he figures out how to open it himself.

We know many of you have questions about the heartbreaking loss of the four puppies this weekend, and we do too. We’re devastated and desperate for answers, but right now, we simply don’t know what took them from us.

Even one of our most experienced veterinarians, with over 40 years in practice, is at a loss. The puppies tested negative for parvo and common parasites. Their bloodwork was mostly normal, except for dangerously low hematocrit levels that didn’t improve, even with blood transfusions.

All four precious lives were lost in just over a 48 hour span. There wasn’t even enough time to test for less common illnesses like distemper or leptospirosis before they were gone.

We are happy to report that the other four siblings seem to be doing well so far, and appear to be healthy at this time. 🤞🏻

Please know we’re doing everything we can to understand what happened. We’re waiting on necropsy results, which could take 7–10 days.

So far, we’ve raised around $3,000, but we still need to raise about $7,000 more to meet our goal and pay off our current vet bill

Please continue to share their story and help us reach our goal, every share, every donation, and every kind word makes a difference right now.

We would also like to take the time to thank you for your compassion, kind words, and support during one of the hardest weekends we’ve faced. It means more than we can express. 🫶❤️

💔 We are heartbroken… and we are begging for help 💔

This weekend has been one of the most devastating at Oklahoma Pet Collective Society.

Four of the sweet Fourth of July puppies we rescued died, one by one, despite everything we and our incredible vets Catoosa Small Animal Hospital did to save them.

They were happy, playful, and full of life… until suddenly, they weren’t.

We lost one Friday evening, two more Sunday evening, and another early this morning.💔

Each call telling us another puppy was gone felt like a punch in the gut.

Our veterinarians worked tirelessly: blood transfusions, IV fluids, antibiotics, constant monitoring, endless testing.

We even sent one of their little bodies for a necropsy because we still don’t know what took them from us so quickly.

No injuries, no obvious cause, just healthy puppies gone in a matter of hours.

We spared no expense trying to save them, but now we are left with a crippling vet bill of over $10,000, and we don’t have the funds to cover it.

Because of this heartbreaking situation, we are being forced to pause all new intakes until we can get this bill paid.

We can’t help any more animals until this debt is resolved… and that is devastating to say out loud.

We are desperate. We need our community more than ever.

Please, if you can, donate today, even the smallest gift matters right now.

If you can’t give, please share this post. Your support means everything to us.

We are shattered, but we won’t give up on the animals who still need us, and we can’t do it without you.

Rest easy, sweet babies. 🥹

Please send your good thoughts and prayers to their foster momma, Tania Crawford, that has loved and cared for them for the last two weeks.

Thank you for standing with us through this heartbreak. 💔🐾

🌞🐾 Help keep our dogs cool and comfy this summer! 🐾🌞

Our sweet facility pups deserve the best, especially during these hot summer months. Right now, their cots are getting pretty worn out and we want to make sure they always have a comfortable place to rest and stay cool.

We’re asking for your help to provide them with sturdy, comfy Kuranda beds, perfect for giving them a cozy spot off the ground. 💙

Why Kuranda beds? Because they’re durable, they help distribute weight so there’s no pressure on hips or joints, and they’re easy to keep clean, perfect for keeping our dogs healthy and happy.

If you’d like to donate a bed, you can order directly through the link below, it’ll ship right to us and go straight to the dogs who need it most.

Thank you for always supporting our pups! ❤️🐶

Every donation helps make their summer a little cooler (and a lot more comfy).
