As a long time customer, we decided to take over from the creator in order to continue to have access to this great product. Thanks to Jen for starting the company and trusting me to take it from here. The Equus Fly Veil is a fly mask/riding hood/bug rug that covers the eyes, ears, face AND neck where annoying flying insects land the most. The tightly knit, see through mesh allows you to ride in a

ll seasons and areas where flying insects exist. It has sturdy velcro closures and soft, elastic straps that clip to the saddle to allow for flexible movement while riding, yet ensures the hood stays in place to ride any discipline. Available in 3 sizes. In 2023 after reviewing all the feedback, including my own use, I made some changes and located a manufacturer to produce the large size that were out of stock when I purchased EFV in 2022. Finding a new manufacturer, new sources for material and making changes is sure a long long process! That long process finally concluded, we stocked the new size in the fall of 2023. The revised version is a softer but slightly heavier, more durable, fabric. We added puckers and pleating over the face. We reduced the size of the ears, changed up the velcro. We added more adjustment around the nose and added a few inches to the fabric on the neck. The placement and clips for the saddle where changed a bit as well. I'm pleased with the changes and we've had great feedback. Please be advised if you have purchased the largest size in the past, these changes started shipping in the fall of 2023. Happy Trails!

Several folks have asked about our veils fitting mules. Here are some pictures of Gus modeling our Large veil. Gus stands 15.1 and is a beefy-built john mule. Our veils have 3 points to connect to both Western and English saddles.

Thank you to all the new AND repeat customers. We are really excited about the orders flying out the doors this summer. I know here in Iowa, we have had tons of rain, which means lots and lots of bugs as well. Here in Iowa we are knee deep in flies and skeeters. Epic fail on the EFV owner's part last night for taking a spur of the moment trail ride with buddies and not packing my fly veil when I jumped in their rig. Deer flies were out in full force! Hey everyone! Greetings from hot and humid Iowa. I just want to remind everyone that customer satisfaction is a key goal at Equus Fly Veils. I was a very happy fly veil customer and loved the product enough to purchase it, rather than let the product disappear. The original owner rode english and horses, I ride western on mules and horses. The veils do work for many different saddles and equine.

With that said, please...please...please if you have trouble with your fly veils, send me pictures and let me try to make you happy. I accept clean returns in their original package within 30 days of your purchase for a refund.

When you design something like this, you can not possibly build a design that will work everytime for every saddle and equine. I've had people send me pictures and we've done measurements and I've altered veils to work for their situation.

I can't fix something that you don't communicate is broken.

In the end if we can't make it work for you, I'm humble enough to accept your return and to also suggest some other similar products from other makers that might work better for your needs. Again, I was not the creator of Equus Fly Veils, but purchased it as a satisfied customer who had put the veils to use on my own animals!
